Welcome to the Great Lord of the Rings contest!

ATTENTION JUDGES!: The criteria have changed! Please visit the criterion thread for more details!

Following on the heels of Ian Spacek's wonderful 'LOTR Trilogy Contests', I have decided to organize the next great contest for us avid Lord of the Rings fans.

This is the second Official contest of the Fellowship of the Brick!

And, for an extra special twist, this contest is NOT 8x8. It is the first full 32x32 baseplate LOTR contest. (Yes, you read that right). You get a maximum of a full LEGO baseplate to work with! Please see the 'Rules' thread for more details.

Open to all Lord of the Rings fans! I hope for this to be a great contest.

Judges have been made moderators to signify their judge-ship.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Due to the MOColympics and MIT the contest has changed the closing date from 11:59 PM on Saturday, October 8th to 11:59 PM on Saturday, October 15th Judges can judge from Sunday (16th)-Saturday (22nd), Sunday will be spent on the MOC of honor and hopefully by Monday-Tuesday-ish the winners will be announced.
