About this group

This is a contest/showcase for a MarsCorp base and/or shuttle. Please visit the original group, MarsCorp, for theme info.

The following are some suggested items to include in a base (I know I did):

a command base (bunker armor recommended)

a control tower

some kind of power source (I like solar)

a storage area (like a warehouse for cargo boxes)

a greenhouse like object (for growing more algae)

a resting area for vehicles

a few defensive systems

The current MOCs in here are to help fit the universal cargo box to a storage unit. Feel free to use the work truck trailer to help with that. There are also posts of the Series II modules and the Site 26 outpost to be found in here.

Below are the suggested details for the Shuttle design.

A cargo bay (bonus points if it holds a cargo box or cargo pod)

optional landing gear (should retract, hence optional)

cockpit for 1-2 man crew

optional model with defensive turret(s)

must be able to land and take off without large launch gantry (it can take off from a launch tower but it shouldn�t need to)

I already have a design done but I want to see others try. I also will be uploading the cargo pods to the group and reducing the posting limits. Feel free to invite friends and ask for help as needed. We all would rather you ask a seemingly stupid question (�cause there is no such thing) then struggle on your build.
