Hello everyone, I am brickunion758, and this is just sort of an update for everyone so I can clear things up and so I can explain my ideas for a new series. A little while ago, my friends ixrolloutix and starscreamer20 had plans to start a build blog series, but it never went through. My idea, is to take their idea of weekly guest coming together to show off cool techniques on a topic, and stepping it up an notch. We would have a two host per episode, who would be "experts" in that category. Four of the planned episodes are about space ship tips, mecha techniques, transformers tips, and bionicle tips. Then later we would have episodes based on more specific things like "mech hands/heads" or "tips for making interesting cockpits". Each weekend, an episode would be posted, and the two hosts would give out advice such as "don't do TO much greebling on your Toa" or "make sure your alt mode and robot mode are interesting". Then, they would show some examples of their own mocs which demonstrate the advice they were giving that week. And every episode would have different hosts, so I won't always be the one showing you guys simple tips. The videos canrange from about three, to about ten minutes long, and will be done over skype or a live chat program. Once the video had been recorded, the two hosts for that week would e-mail it to me and I would upload it to this channel, or a channel specifically for the new series. For the first few episodes though, it will probably be me and some other builders just showing ideas and advice on what is good and what not to do. Now, please don't ask to be a host for an episode, the hosts will be part of a group who can help me set up a schedule for who will be doing what videos and on what weekends. That is, if the series works or not. I will need some well known Lego builders to help get the series off the ground though. And this idea was totally inspired by ix and starscreamer29 who first had the idea of a series to show tips and to make new connections and friendships with new builders! I really want to make this idea fun for everyone and sort of a networking thing. Now I'm sure I've bored you all to death so I'll let you go on your way. Till next time though, I'm brickunion758, and I'll see you guys next time!
