Welcome to the Middle-earth Wars! Please read through everything carefully!
It is the 5th age, King Elessar is long since dead and war has erupted in Middle-earth once again. In these tough times three factions have arisen:
Men of the West:
Men of Gondor and Rohan, fighting for their homelands and peace across Middle-earth once more. Although members of other races have joined their cause, this faction is mostly comprised of Men and Hobbits. Their typical colors are Black or Dark Green and Dark Red.
The Dark Forces:
There are fouler things than Orcs in the world. The Dark Forces are comprised mainly of Orcs however many men from Harad and Umbar have aligned themselves here. The Dark Forces hope to cover the world in darkness under the leadership of an unknown being of power. This faction rallies under a black banner without device or marking.
Elves are a diminishing breed, many moving East into the Undying Lands but the few who remain generally try to avoid the war. Dwarves however, are thriving in this time though they choose to remain distant from the troubles of Men. This faction is comprised of those who have no place in the War between the Dark Forces and the Men of the West. They have no official colors.

How to play:
Please read all of the rules carefully!! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask!
To begin with, you must build a Character Intro. Visit this thread to learn more: Character Intros
When signing up, please write which faction you are joining and choose wisely, as you may only change factions every two months and you lose points when you do!
Once you have signed up and posted your character intro, you will be invited to your faction group.
To progress your character's story, you build! Building earns you points which can be used for a variety of things which will be explained later.
Freebuild: 2 Pts
Grand Quest: Entering 5 Pts, Winning 10 Pts
Scene from Movie or Book: 1 Pt
Grand Quests will be monthly challenges in which you will build a certain category. Building for the Quest earns you 5 points but winning earns you 10.
As you can also see, building scenes from the movies or books will earn you a small amount of points so if you already have some Tolkien-themed builds, feel free to add those and jump ahead! HOWEVER, it MUST be a build from one of Tolkien's Books or a Movie based on Tolkien's works.
Remember though, you may only add 5 creations per month so choose wisely! Removing creations to add more is not allowed and you will lose points by doing so.
What are points good for anyway?
You're probably asking this right now so I'm going to tell you.
Points allow you to move up in your faction and in the group as a whole, as well as give you bragging rights.
Members with a large amount of points can become rulers of a city within their faction as well as receive faction-specific rewards. We are currently working on more ways to utilize points.
Points will be tracked in this thread: Points
They will be updated every Friday, but don't fret if it doesn't happen exactly then.
These are some things that are completely forbidden and not allowed in this game, any builds with anything on this list will be removed and will NOT count for points.
If you are not absolutely, 100% positive about something, ask. As the staff, we reserve the right to remove a build if it contains something not on this list so please, ask first and don't get in trouble.
