About this group

The Ssyphins are snake-like humanoids that live on their homeworld of Ssyphi (in the Star Wars Galaxy). They have a totalitarian and militaristic government that everyone prospers under. Their world has a purplish tint to it due to the purple minerals in its mountains, and is surrounded by its own asteroid field. This was man-made, of course, after the Ssyphins made gravity machines to trap any and all asteroids in their solar system.

In Ssyphin society, both males and females are treated equally, and have one big goal: to participate in the gigantic Ssyphin military and government! Currently, they take great pride in developing new (and sometimes stolen) technology for their machines of war. Soon, invasion will be at hand!

But first, a history:

When Ssyphin technology reached the level that high-powered telescopes could be made, they made an astonishing discovery: another life-bearing planet in their system! It was closer to the sun, and looked much more lush than Ssyphi.

The Ssyphins immediately set about developing technologies that would allow interaction between them and these new beings.

It took a few standard centuries, but they finally reached their space age; faster than these other beings. As telescopic technology expanded, they found that this habitable world wasn't changing—period. This shocked the Ssyphins, as developing new technologies had been the core of their existence for the past few centuries.

Once a shuttle was able to be sent out to this lush, green planet, the truth was out: the beings of this planet were primitive! They had something of language, and were basic, down-to-earth farmers, living off their profitable landscape. They had Pagan gods and goddesses in their life, and when the Ssyphins landed they dropped to their knees, thinking they were a greater presence.

Were the Ssyphins going to leave them be? NAY! Seeing such a lush world, and looking back at how their world was choked up with industry, an intricate plan was devised:

1: Bring back some of these aliens to be… tested, in endurance, strength, etc.

2: After this, they took back more and more of what they now called "Lessivs," but kept many back on their world to keep farming.

3: They proceeded to enslave the Lessivs, making them but lowly servants. This, however, pleased the Lessivs, who felt that Ssyphi was the planet of the gods, and were actually enraptured if they were chosen to be transported to Ssypphi.

4: Taking advantage of the Lessiv's lush world, they set up trade routes between the two planets, exporting Lessiv plants and animals regularly to Ssyphi, taking them in small proportions to prevent any sort of extinction there.

5: In modern times, since the asteroid field was created around Ssyphi, transports are armed to take out any space rocks that get too close.

The Ssyphin's motives are unclear, but they seem to be making peace with the rest of the Star Wars Galaxy.
