WOW! This took me a long time. It's hard to make sure you're holding everybody to the same standard, but I think this is very fair.

Cody

Resemblance: 6/10 - Recognizable. Didn't really nail any specific details, but all are decent. Inclusion of markings is good. The flowing cape is a cool effect, but is more like Suicune's cape than Raikou's.

Flow: 5/10 - The body looks pretty blocky. Some better planning could have been used to fill some of the gaps. Black 1x1 plates would look better in the legs. Looks a bit better from the top down angle.

Creativity: 5/10 - Arms on the head, tooth plate as chin, and roof plates for cape are all fairly creative.

Originality: 5/10 - The flowing cape stands out as unique. Entry is one of only two minifig-scale creations.

Presentation: 5/5 - Pictures are in focus, a nice white backdrop is used, and the images effectively show off the entire creation.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: No vig.

TOTAL: 26

Sam

Resemblance: 9/10 - There's no mistaking this Raikou. All the distinguishing aspects are there, although some aren't fantastic. "Mustache" lacks the other two points. Cape is a good effort but is kind of small. Ears are pretty small as well. It's mostly great, though. The black markings are very good and the tail looks electric.

Flow: 9/10 - The head has a VERY nice organic shape. The body is very well shaped as well. In the legs, the cylindrical pieces accentuate the blockiness of the rest and break the flow a little. The paws are too square.

Creativity: 5/10 - The technic pieces and tubing as the cape are very creative, even if the cape came out a bit small.

Originality: 6/10 - Cape is unique. This is the largest entry with a sculpted look. Doesn't try to do anything with one piece.

Presentation: 5/5 - Pictures are in focus, a nice white backdrop is used, and the images effectively show off the entire creation.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: No vig.

TOTAL: 34

Mingo

Resemblance: 7/10 - Recognizable. Totally nails some details while completely omitting others. Black "mask" is wonderful, cape is fluffy-looking (although it doesn't originate from the neck like it should), eyes are clearly visible, stripes are decent. There is no blue nose whisker thing at all, the tail doesn't really work, and the feet are tiny nubs.

Flow: 7/10 - The head's flow is great and the body isn't bad either. Legs show studs and rubber bands never do anything to impress (me at least).

Creativity: 7/10 - Arms on the face, the hands and robot arm for the black "mask", and the legs in the cape all stick out as creative.

Originality: 4/10 - This is one of only two minifig-scale entries.

Presentation: 4/5 - Pictures are in focus and everything is visible, but photography is lacking a little. Dark shadows and some pictures look yellow. Main picture makes Raikou's proportions look much worse than they really are.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: No vig.

TOTAL: 29

Jeffery

Resemblance: 7/10 - Definitely recognizable. All distinguishing aspects are here, and most are quite good. Black mask ear thing is great, blue mustache thing is adequate, markings are there but don't quite look integrated into the animal, tail looks electric, and the cape is the best one in my opinion. Legs get far too thin at the bottom. The front legs also seem too long.

Flow: 6/10 - Head and body flow are good, but not fantastic. Too many studs showing. Overall it feels a tad blocky and stiff.

Creativity: 4/10 - Cape and tail are both fairly creative

Originality: 2/10 - Cape is built sideways.

Presentation: 5/5 - Pictures are in focus, a nice white backdrop is used, and the images effectively show off the entire creation.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: 4/5 - Nice little ledge. The back is pretty cool.

TOTAL: 28

Kevin

Resemblance: 8/10 - Very recognizable. All details are there. Mask is good, "mustache" is very good, teeth are the best in the contest, eyes are visible, some markings. The head's shape is very good. Cape is too disjointed, legs could be better, tail doesn't quite work IMO.

Flow: 9/10 - Looks most like a living animal. Legs are kind of blocky, though.

Creativity: 7/10 - Flippers work very well and make the best "mustache" in the contest. Daggers as teeth are also better than fangs.

Originality: 8/10 - The pose is completely unique, as is the "mustache", fangs, and head construction.

Presentation: 5/5 - Pictures are in focus, a nice white backdrop is used, and the images effectively show off the entire creation.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: 3/5 - Vig sticking up behind Raikou looks very cool, but it is also rather basic.

It doesn't look like any one is doing the other judging so I'll do it. March is way over so we may as well get this done.

Cody

Resemblance: 4/10: I can sort of see what he is trying to get at but I would like to see the eyes.Legs are impressive but he should have used claws cause they are better to use.

Flow: 6/10: His legs are a bit blocky, though the head isn't blocky. I would recommend that he should use a different piece for the cape. I think it has a lot of effort to not make it blocky.

Creativity: 8/10: I like the idea for the wiskers that hold teeth.

Originality: 7/10:I really like the head as it is totally different and establishes a good range organization of the pieces as it looks difficult to come up with such an idea.

Presentation: 5/5: All pictures were clear and he had a great white back drop

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: No vig.

Total:30

Sam

Resemblance: 9/10:I can totally tell it's Raikou. The face is what really tells me it's him.

Flow: 9/10: It's pretty good but the feet look a tad blocky. The head is quite big but still looks awesome.

Creativity: 8/10: I love the wiskers, Great idea! The cape is pretty cool but it should be longer.

Originality: 8/10: He was the only one to use those claws as everyone used the other ones.

Presentation: 5/5: All pictures were clear Nice back drop.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: No vig.

Total:39

Mingo

Resemblance: 2/10: I can not tell this is Raikou, it might need to be bigger to contain more detail. The cape looks nice.

Flow: 4/10: The body is kinda blocky. The to front legs are also blocky.

Creativity: 5/10 The legs for the cape are nice, it's a great idea.

Originality: 4/10: Though his tail is differnt it looks a bit strange.

Presentation: 3/5: I can see darkness and lighting changes a lot.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: No vig.

TOTAL:20

Kevin

Resemblance: 7/10 Yes I can identify that it is Raikou, the face is a example of this.

Flow: 5/10: Most pieces seem to be in order but back legs needs to be changed.

Creativity: 7/10: The flippers are an ingenious idea for the wiskers! I like the white pieces coming from the head.

Originality: 8/10: His Raikou is quite original because it has a different pose. I think his front teeth are different.

Presentation: 5/5: Nice back drop, good pics.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: 5/5: I like the pieces sticking out, it suites the style of the burned tower.

Total:37

Jeffery

Resemblance: 8/10 I can tell that this is Raikou mainly by the body as the face dosen't have fierce look in his eye. Great job making it look like him.

Flow: 7/10: Legs are correctly in the right place. The belly is curved just like Raikou.
The white cheeks aren't that curved.

Creativity: 6/10: The pieces of the cape are nice, it's the best out of every ones.

Originality: 6/10: The cape is different to every one else. He was the only one who used those claws for the feet.He changed the side of the studs around for the body which was different. Wiskers were like Sam's.

Presentation: 5/5: Pics were good, video was nicely done, I like the back drop.

BONUS POINTS- Vignette: 5/5 The ledge has nice detail.

Total:37

Judging for March

Cody's Raikou:
-Resemblance: Since this Pokemon uses special colors it's pretty easy to recognize it even if the build is not that accurate. All in all 4/10.
-Flow: The head looks quite complex and cool, the rest not, it's a little flat. 5/10
-Creativity: As I said before I like the head's parts usage, the body is just too simple. 5/10
-Originality: You were the first for March, so I can't compare yours to the others. 6/10
-Presentation: The photos are very good and clear. I can see all aspects of the MOC + a comparison pic. 4/5
-Bonus points 0

TOTAL 24

Sam's Raikou:
-Resemblance: This one is pretty easy to recognize. You captured the shape very well, there details, such as the stripes. 9/10
-Flow: There are hardly studs, I love the legs, the head is very good and you even combined it Technic and System. 8/10
-Creativity: All parts are used very well: the purple thing, the tail and particularly on its head. 8/10
-Originality: I think there's no other entry that has similarities with this one. 8/10
-Presentation: Nice photos + comparison pic 4/5
-Bonus 0

TOTAL 38

Mingo's Raikou:
- Resemblance: Besides the colors it reminds me more of a Rattata. 4/10
-Flow: Quite a nice build for this scale. 5/10
-Creativity: I like the purple thing, the rest is more simple than complex. 5/10
-Originality: Compared to the others, quite different. 6/10
-Presentation: Photos are OK, taken with flash though (not all). 2/5
-Bonus 0

TOTAL 24

Kevin's Raikou:
-Resemblance: No purple makes it a little hard. 5/10
-Flow: The build itself is OK, a little simple though. 6/10
-Creativity: The body is a bulky and a little deformed. Other than that I really like the head, you got me with those fins. 7/10
-Originality: 6/10. Again a build that doesn't like the others.
-Presentation: The photos are OK. 3/5
-Bonus: There is vignette, which is not that interesing though. 3/5

TOTAL 30

Jeffery's Raikou:
-Resemblance: I can recognize it, but not in a particular way. 6/10
-Flow: The build is OK, the Pokemon seems a little stiff. 5/10
-Creativity: Nothing exciting on this one. 4/10
-Originality: I'm really surprised all builds for March have their own style, but I've seen such feet before 4/10
-Presentation: The photos are good, a little dark, but you made a video. 4/5
-Bonus: You made a little vignette, simple yet effective. 3/5

TOTAL 26

I'm sorry if the reviews are a little short, I was in a hurry :)

Hey man, you got the most points from me. All the judges had pretty different opinions this round.

I don't see how my Raikou looks like a Rattata, but I guess that's just an opinion. Can't wait for this month's contest!

Do you guys think a comparison pic should be required in the future? I know it was mentioned that I didn't use blue in the face, but the pic I used for reference showed it as being gray.

Mingo, your main picture is taken at an angle that really makes the proportions look rat-like. The other angles don't, but I can totally see why he said that.

What I meant was that the studs were facing the front. All the other capes were built studs-up. It wasn't a bad thing. You got points for it. The way I judged originality for all the entries was giving 2 or 3 points for each thing that stood out as different from the other entries. 2/10 isn't necessarily bad. If something didn't do anything new I'd give them a 0 in that category. The other judges probably judged this category differently than I did, but since I judged all the entries this way it shouldn't matter that I did it this way.
