Yeh, there's been a fair few good new Normandys posted, some inspired by my SR2, or so I've heard.
I found a pretty good micro SR1 on google images the other day (first page, Flickr, i believe)... look at the other creation that guy's working on. I was thinking of building a citadel myself, but I'm a bit bogged down with work, and my new SR1 is coming along soooo slowly.
Catsy's got some good stuff up there. I hope he/she finishes that model and posts nice pics.
As for your SR-1, I've got a largish build in the works pending parts and a couple other things I want to do first. I'm curious as to how you're tackling a) the subtle (and not-so) curves on the fuselage, and b) the wing tilt forward in addition to down. Permalink
I've finally gotten round to working on the SR1. Construction however has transended physical being and is now only in the imaginary world of the computer. Any thoughts/feedback on her would be greatly appreciated- the dorsal surface looks a bit 'flat' in the photos, but the 3D model is more convincing. Permalink
Hi Ben, The SR1 is looking great. I'm Been working on the SR2. I hope you approve. I updated my comments on the page because i wanted to make sure you were fully credited for your work.I was dead tired when i initally posted it and was having trouble getting it to upload.I tried very hard to make it as close to the original modal as i could, but i need some pionters from you on the Thanix cannons.
Your pictures were great, but like all pics they get distorted on higher magnification. Anyway any help would be apprieciated. Thanks Permalink
