Nation: Roman Empire
Lands: Greece and Turkey, plus Cyprus the pariah nation

Already got it on the map! In fact, I need most of y'all on the map.

Also, Cliffe says no big territories at the start, unless you have a good reason.

Very good. Looks like you're all set for training(when I get around to making the training forum).

I'm real sketchy about your faction's name, though- please explain it. I don't know how any nation could be "International," nor how it could be an "Alliance" and still be one single nation, not many nations.

I was thinking more "Western Federation of Russia" or something similar for you.

Well If I plan on expanding past Russia's borders, then i shouldn't have a name that focuses on Russia then. I mean lets say I take over somewhere in South America, would they still say that they were part of the Western Federation of Russia? Plus, it is also the name of the Irish Republican Army, And i'm a proud republican, in the U.S.A.

Righto;

Nation: Greater Alenia.

Lands: Bits of northern central Russia.

Color: Very, very dark grey. In the MSpaint RGB palette, Red: 70, Green: 70, Blue: 70.

Government: In theory? Totalitarian regime. In practice? Benevolent dictatorship/democratic stratocracy. Bit o' both; the chiefs of the Army are elected by the rank and file, they in turn elect the Prime Minister who runs the nation every five years. Everyone's in the military, so, indirect democracy you could call it.

Other stuff: Culturally fairly Western, thanks to the Westernization of pre-breakup Russia. More militant than the average, though.

As a state, very fond of the days when Old Russia could conquer any state in the world in five days. And, of course, the men who went on to become Alenian leaders were vital to the operations of the old motherland. All the other splinter nations that say the same thing are lying, clearly.

By the way things are looking, Iran isn't getting any smaller and they have 11,000,000 plus para-military troops. Now if they had a leader to unite them together, that would create a very large army, plus forcing young men into the military= one big army.

You can't use creations for RA-CAS-UEN in this group, if that's what you're asking. If you're starting out with a new country, you have to make new MOCs.

However, all your Russian equipment should be fine seeing as Russian military vehicles and weapons end up EVERYWHERE.

You already have.
It's a learn-by-doing thing.

Well, a couple notes of mine to prevent embarrassing accidents; if you're doing a "black" or covert operation, you need to tell an admin so he can decide if it's successful. If you're doing it in an admin's territory, for goodness' sakes don't tell HIM, find a different one.

Alliances are your friends.

If you've got enough powerful "associates" nearby, people won't be likely to attack you for land.

There's no nuclear weapons. Obvious reasons.

Although if the game goes on long enough, I'd like to put a particle beam satellite into orbit.

Aand- everything's realtime.

You can't conquer England in a day.

Well, to be realistic, you can't conquer England at all, not in less than a decade.

Anyway, that's what I've accumulated over time.
Might help you.

NO MORE GREEN. DID YOU NOT READ THE THREAD BEFORE POSTING.

Sorry, I hate it when people don't do that, or do it and ignore it. And has been stated several times that Scandinavia has been conquered.

@Tedious-Tice conflict: Tedious, you sure hold grudges well. My life has been threatened several time in the real world, you don't see me shunning those people forever and ever and not even be able to be in the same general area as them.

Furthermore, it's the internet. What could he have possible done? I think there's more danger from real-life threats than internet threats. In short, realize it's been two years (as Tice claims, I remember a similar figure of 1.5 years) since a threat made over the internet.

I thought that was mainly Dr. S going all out on swearing in a chat.

Anyways, I seem to remember it happening around February-April, during the height of the CFOL madhouse. A little over a year to a little under a year ago. Hmm... I guess that's less than 1.5 years. Seems longer than that. How did you parents find out anyway? Did they sneak on the computer, did they watch you over your shoulder, did you tell them? I can understand sneaking, I get paranoid of that all the time...

Plus, as of tomorrow, I'll be receiving the sixteen stealth cruisers I ordered from Tom, so they will be able to supplement my naval strength in the region.

Pink is taken, in the UCS color scale I use, Mongolia is a light brownish gray color. How bout that?

Sounds beautiful. Oh, and kind of related to Areesta's half threat, how do you actually take over territory?

It's not actually a half-threat, just saying. In fact, Mongolia would only be of use to me as a stepping stone for assaulting China.

As for the other questions: you just 'say' you do and you do. As long as it's not too outrageous.

You can't conquer England in a week, for instance.

The only main thing folks talk of are their technological expenditures, future and current projects, military projection, and the occasional domestic or foreign policy establishment. It's pretty lucrative. Just make things up that use at least half of a wit and you're good to go. Scroll through the ICF and you'll see how things roll on.

Oh nonono! I thought someone was going for Madigascar, but I couldn't find any recent posts, so I assumed I was imagining things. Keep it, you're integrating it, I just went through this with Denmark. Idk where he's going to go then, you might want to setup a small Federation of African states, I don't know. The North African coast is almost all protectorates, along with South Africa and Mozamb.

I will, I had plans on combining Mozam, Madagascar, Malwai, Comoros, and Tanzania into the Oceanian Federation of East African States, sort of a African projection of my nation.

being landlocked isn't that much of an issue, the issue is your low population, and lack of natural resources.

Also, I'm a teeny bit behind (need to make Dawn's flag still), I'd be happy to make you a flag if I could.

Oh, for crying out loud. Can I see a map or something and point to where I want to be?

How about Antarctica? I can't think of a more deserted area than that. Nice opportunities for geothermal power, too. And with any luck, I could con the Go'ould into trade when they land...

Antarctica is still a disputed territory often renewed under the Antarctic Treaty and is preserved as scientific area. Plus, it has no official population and doesn't really offer much in terms of invitation unless you like cold, harsh winters year-long . . . So . . . Yeah . . .
