It is my job as combat moderator to control and regulate all military conflicts. Anytime you have a conflict, you must declare it in this thread to notify me that is in effect. Then, contact me via my flickrmail with your chosen strategy and etc so I get an idea of how to judge the conflict.

This is not optional, but necessary to ensure that all conflicts are controlled to make sure nothing escalates out of proportions or strays from realism.

What if we want a surprise attack?

Good point. I was furious when Awe stated you were making a surprise attack on the Rooskies, giving them time to respond. A designated combat mod will give us the ability to do so, I think.

/Waits for douchebag response from Areetsa.

Good point. I really hated when Awe said you were going to launch a surprise attack and let them Rooskies adjust their naval plans.

Well here is one from me, if we had sustained more casualties Brendan would have been eliminated. No offense Brendan.

They have radar now. You'd be able to spot the Japanese fleet incoming from hundreds of miles away, if I assume Russia still has control of their satellites and planes. Which I think it does. If there's a fleet heading right at you with undeclared intentions, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what's going on.

And I am a fair person, I did some adjusting to Cole's forces when he stopped sending plans, and had his people retreat to secure ground instead of just sit there and die.

Which don't do anything to a satellite sitting in orbit watching you.

Counter-measures, counter-counter-measures, counter-counter-counter-measures, counter-counter-counter-counter-measures...

'Tis enough to drive a man mad, I swear. Just sorting out the 'counters' is a task for a saint.

Well I guess your 30 meter tall smoke grenade could hide the fleet.

Methinks I'd much prefer to just nuke the other guy's fleet from orbit.

There's a lot less fiddly bits in that plan.
