On the night of July 4th 2036 The Lone Star Republic rejoined the Union and caused the Sovereign States of wealth to relinquish the deep south. July 5th all world leaders soon met in Old Washington DC. There, Governor Will Gober was assassinated, shot through the heart.
The Pacific Union immediately claimed they did not under any circumstances commit this action. All flags were held at half-staff.
On July 6, 2036, one day after the death of Will Gober, the interim Governor of the LSR invaded the PCU through California. The 100 strong garrison on the border could do nothing to stop the raging Texans, but they could radio in their final moments to the troops in Los Angeles that War was coming.
In Portland, the Governators abandoned South California, and subjected it to heavy bombardment from missiles and the occasional MOAB/FOAB. On July 7, 2036, the UNS came upon the side of the Pacific Union.
The SSW turned the fleet coming home from their now Texan states and invaded. Since the lands were not fully occupied by LSR troops, the SSW quickly gained large sums of land.
The CAS, enraged that the agreement between the UNS-LSR-and themselves was broken
invaded Hawaii. Hawaii gave a good fight, but nearly half of the naval ships there were destroyed by a massive air/sea assault
All remaining ships sped for home.
The RA, seeing the once great Americas running rampant with war, released the PCU and LSR from the URSA ranks, making him not bound to help one over the other. In the South, the SSW was not aided by the RR.
However, in Europe, Ukraine had invaded the UNS
War was everywhere
It was not clear who fired the first nuclear missile, but it is clear it was in Europe.
Kiev was engulfed in a mushroom cloud
The PCU showed extreme disdain at such an attack.
Back in California, the Texans were closing in on North California
and their Navy was fast approaching. Right as their Navy began the assault on the PCU
The CAS Navy arrived. While the troops on land faced death from three directions
the PCU Navy came to the rescue
It sank the entire CAS Navy
and the LSR Navy was severely crippled. The troops on the ground received reinforcements from the PCU Marines
and within one week
the Texans were back in Arizona. Three weeks later, the European Theater has ended with Jack Ford and his nation and the CAS virtually wiped off the face of the universe
All of the UNS Military began the assault on Texas. All LSR Troops evacuated to Texas to hold on to Houston and San Angelo
The PCU gave chase, surrounding the Texans in the two cities. On August 6, 2036, the supply lines running between the two cities were severed, and now the final days of the LSR were at hand. The PCU made several statements condemning the LSR about all the previous actions they made, and how it all culminated it the destruction of Texas
On August 7, 2036, the PCU invaded San Angelo
This was the fiercest fighting of the war, where it was not street to street, house to house, but room to room.
It took a full two months for the city to be taken, but another year for it to be fully secure
On August 8th, 2037 the UNS invaded Houston
The fighting was light
as most of the LSR troops began to evacuate to San Angelo when all began to fail.
On October 27, 2037, the UNS and the PCU celebrated as the end of the war had finally come. The PCU and UNS, utilizing plans already made by the PCU, became the United Nation for the safety and protection for the entire world
and the world fell into the longest era of peace on the planet until the year 3036 when the Earth's magnetic poles completely swapped, causing our ozone and atmosphere to disappear, ending the long violent tale of humanity.
