The only reason they'd be shot down is if there was were search and destroy missions going on, which I'm almost positive there weren't. Since until today Cliffe's disappeared. Radar jamming would have no effect on these units as they were given their orders prior to the mission.

Maybe they were confused by the terrain? Its hard to drop a vehicle into the desert where no clear lines were drawn...

Maybe the confusion resulting from being intercepted by An Egyptian patrol caused them to miscalculate, and drop the vehicles within range of Egyptian missiles?

fair enough, although the chances of Egyptian patrol in Chad airspace seems unlikely.
North Africa Coalition:

Algeria-
-A missile boat is scheduled to be released tonight.
Niger-
-Airdropped units continue to gain skill in confidence, and continue to practice around the Niger river.
-gold, oil, coal, iron, tin, and phosphates production is being increased. Troops are going to be positioned around the various mines to ensure safety.
-looking into building nuclear reactor.
Mali-
gold, uranium, phosphates, kaolinite, salt and limestone production is also being increased, again troops are going to be stationed around the mining sites, for added safety.
Chad-
petroleum, uranium, natron, kaolin, fish (Lake Chad), gold, limestone, and salt production is also being upped, blah blah blah, same as above.
So, yeah I'm pretty much increasing my income through exporting natural recources.

I'm going to have to take some matters out of the convenient secrecy of FMs...

I have had a somewhat large fleet of fighter planes backing Texas for some time, operating alongside the Prusso-Egyptian forces. Now that Prusso Egypt has more important matters to deal with than defending Texas, the UAC officially declares war on the PCU. This war will only be carried out in Texas until an agreement is reached or untill a combat moderator declares all Texans dead.

My exact plans haven't been worked out yet, but I'll get there.

In response to the invasion of Prusso Egypt, I will not take sides but anyone to enter my territory without authorization will be fired upon immediately.

In order for him to hit you with Strategic bombing, he would first have to have a bomber capable of dropping mssive ammounts of ordinance, which the bomber on his MOCpages is most certainly not able to do, as we've been over.

He would also have to cross over Dawn's airspace, who is currently at war with him, leaving his bomber force returning (if they do at all) with upwards of 80-90% cassualties.

Germany and Egypt also do not have anywhere near the industrial capacity to produce anywhere near the size of the Anglo-American bombing campaigns in WWII.

So no, not the biggest in human history, and but maybe the least effect with the highest death toll.

I use my Ho-XIIs as bombers instead now. They're much more effective, and in fact, actually larger than the Reichsadler, which will be retired. Maybe upgraded some day.

I don't mean to be rude, but seriously. I'm sorry. Using a travel calculator, it is about 5870km from Poland to Mongolia, and about 5600 from Egypt. For a round trip that's just under 12,000 kilometers. You would need more tankers then bombers for that campaign to feed the bombers and escorts. Heck you would need tankers to feed the tankers. That and, like I said. Your planes will be slaughtered on the dime. It's not going to happen, period.

Oh, I wasn't arguing the fact that I would be able to bomb Mongolia, that's madness. I would have to get me some forward strategic air bases in the IRA first. Even then, it's like the Doolittle raid.

Twas merely a little farce. It would be nice if I were to pull it off, though.

Texas:

Lack of coordinated leadership has left whatever Texan rebels left to be more or less on their own.

Fighting continues across Houston, but only sporadic, as most of the land has been taken by the FTSA, and only ockets of resistnace remain there.

The PCU meanwhile has sent a final crushing force to eliminate Austin. Some 30,000 men with tanks and air support are now assaulting the city, and HAT-1s are already rolling through the suburbs.

Portland:

National guard and riot troops have completely surrounded the few blocks where the Texans are holed up, and a PCU ambush has been made on the capital. Using force of numbers, troops stormed the building and immediatley hosed down the texans inside with tear gas and smoke. Grenades have also been used, and close-quarters fighting has commenced, with the PCU hoping to root all Texans out of the building.

The riot troops who landed on the roof of the building and took down the Texan flag yesterday are preparing an assault into the building. The Texan flag has also been burned.

The PCU has successfully put down all rioting incited by the Texan call to arms yesterday. As it turns out, most ordinary citizens were not willing to risk their lives, and whatever rioting broke out lacked organization, and was put down by trained riot troops.

Africa:

Egyptian troops and armor have stopped to establish front lines, outside of the congo. They have not retreated to the point where they give up land, yet they are not willing to advance into the Congo. They sit waiting and fortifying positions while waiting for orders.

An Algerian air deployment was sent to drop more David anti-tank UAV mines on Egyptian escape routes. The Davids were sent out aboard a C-130 Hercules protected by 13 hyper falcons, 16 Su-30MKA and 20 Flying Wings armed with air to air missiles.

A patrol force of more Egyptian hyperfalcons caught this task force, and caught the Algerians off guard, this time, all 13 Algerian possed hyperfalcons were able to be identified, and numbered and put into Prusso-Egyptian archives, so those units will noe be known to Prusso-Egypt and be able to be identified in further attacks, no longer will they be able to blend in with Egyptian codes.

Anyway, due to the superior training of the Egyptians, a fact obtained from the point that they built the planes, and are therefore better with them, they we able to take the upper hand while dogfighting their Algerian counterparts. 6 Algerian Hyperfalcons were downed as compared to 3 for the Egyptians. Reinforcement Hyperrfalcons, called in once the size of the Algerian threat was established, were able to call in long range missile strikes to down 5 flying wing fighters. another 3 flying wings were downed in further combat as they were outmaneuvered by the hyperfalcons in dogfights.

Then, the remaining #-130, Su-30s, and 13 flying wings were able to turn back around and beeline for Algeria after releasing their payloads, 40 Davids. The force of Egyptian Hyperfalcons was forced to be split up, one group remaining behind to dogfight the remaining Algerian Hyperfalcons, with another group chasing the fleeing Algerian aircraft. The Egyptians, still outclassing the Algerians, managed to down another 4, while losing two more themselves, before the last 3 Algerian hyper falcons, fearful of total loss, landed in friendly USCA. The Egyptian group pursueing the Algerians managed to set off volleys of long-range missiles, downing the C-130 and 2 more flying wings before being forced to turn back because of AA and SAM fire.

Th Egyptians put this victory in the hands of their daring pilots, who through superior training, were able to outclass the Algerian pilots, who were not as capable in the Egyptian fighters.

losses:
Egypt:
8 hyperfalcons to dogfights
2 hyperfalcons to long-range missiles

Algeria:
10 Hyperfalcons to dogfights
7 flying wings to dogfights
1 C-130 to long range missiles
2 flying wings to long-range missiles.

And what of the Algerian anti-tank mines?
As Egypt was not using the roads to retreat or advance today, most of the dropped mines landed on inactive roads. Only three vehicles passed through where mines where, but those 3 were destroyed. Other mines were located and disarmed by Egyptians.

Europe: thirty Ho-12b stealth bombers, sent off by the Luftwaffe, evaded the Russian aircraft using their stealthiness, and dropped bombs on the highest concentrations of marines, seriously hampering efforts to erect defenses. Su-35s attempted to cover the Russians from the air, but were unable to get a lock on stealth bombers.
meanwhile, eight panzer divisions, two panzergrenadier divisions, eight cavalry regiments, two Cuirassier regiments and one infantry division attacked the Russian marines there, who had by this time deployed a tank force of their own. A pitched battle ensued, which will likely continue for several days. However, currently, German Panzers have the edge on Russian tanks, and the marines are being pushed back from their beachhead, although slowly.

Off the German coast, 5 Russian subs and four destroyers were sent to look for German U-boats. These U-boats found hem first however, and manged to sink 1 Russian sub and 1 destroyer before taking any hits. Two U-boats were then sunken. By this time, German Destroyers of the SMS Berlin class were called in, along with more U-boats, and another Russian Destroyer and two more Russian subs were downed. Fierce ship-to-ship fire then claimed 1 Russian and 1 German Destroyer each. At this time, Romanov Battleships, 6 of which had been patrolling and shelling the German coast, entered the fray. The large, lumbering ships, at home shelling the coast, proved ineffective at modern ship-to-ship combat, and were woefully unable to perform effectively against faster German lighter vessels. They're armor prevailed however, and all six were able to escape to Russia without much damage. The Germans now hold the strength in their own waters.

10 more panzer divisions advanced on the amassing Russians at the German-Russian border. The Russian T-101's use their UAV's to mark multiple enemy vehicles and then systematically take them out due to their quad barrels. However, the German Panzers, being of great quality, also scored hits on the Russians.

Finn put 1,000 troops into Germany yesterday, in German uniforms, and they attempted to gain access to German bases today. However, as most could not speak German, many were caught, and search teams have been dispatched to find the remaining Russian spies who are now on the run.

Kuwait: French and Egyptian Air power collided today, with losses for both sides. French Rafales and AR-13s went up against Hyperfalcons and some Sumerian-owned Osean fighters. losses went heavily for the French, but through amove of good tactical skill, they were able to get behind the Egyptian Planes and into Sumerian territory where they wreaked havoc on the Osean-built planes. So far, France has lost about 20 aircraft, while Egypt has lost 9 hyperfalcons and 37 Osean owned planes (30 of which were caught on the ground by naval missile strikes called by the Europeans earlier in the day).

Take a quick look at that list:

Will - Don't know who this is.
NICK - As in Nick Shelton? He's at war with you.
Jack - Only helping you in Texas which is logistically impossible really.
Glenn - Doesn't have three MOC's.
Weagle - As in Canada? I'm pretty sure since he's AWOL, his troops are disorganized and fleeing, with nor morale. And rightfully so.
Tom (probably) - He's CM. Hopefully he won't be baised, and realizes you are hopelessly outnumbered.
Brendan - Currently losing a war in his homeland if I read the CM's correctly.
Jake - Don't know who this is off hand, sorry.
Awe - You do realize he and Erik are invading you, and completely winning in the middle east right.

Just thought I'd toss that out there.

Actually, Nick isn't at war with me. We have delightful little talks on Facebook. In fact, I now support his actions against Texas because of the atrocities committed by the Texans.

And this is really more of a list of people who wouldn't want to see Prusso-Egypt annihilated.

Jake is Algeria.

And it's only now I've decided to send plans to Tom- with tonight's counterattacks, everything will change.

Tom, just wanted to let you know, and I know i am being whiney tonight, that the Egyptian advance into the USCA failed utterly, except in the north. All his river based forces that hit the modern-day Congo Republics, and Uganda, that area, where repelled with serious casualties on the Egyptian side. In the north, they captured some of the targets along the Chari river, but they didn't advance more then 60-70km in.

Exactly, which is why I stated they are holding the line outside of the jungles, and are advancing in the deserts.

These actions are strictly precautionary in order to insure the protection of Bohemian civilians and are not meant to induce hostilies.

The domestic ALDS will be making routine sorties to watch for large, high-speed incoming munitions. The one upon foreign duty will be positioned in the Maldives for similar purposes.

You're doing what where? Might I suggest you don't? I like that idea.

Why can't a move a defense unit into my own territory? It has no offensive capability at all, I assure you. It's pretty much the Euro version of the Boeing ALTB.

Finland is deploying all available active and reserve troops to the Finnish/ Prusso-Egyptian border. Our first 2 fully equipped F35P squadrons are running constant patrols. Our bunkers, artillery, and tank divisions are all amassing there (well camouflaged, of course).

Obviously, this is all precautionary, much like Bohemia's response. Of course, if Cliffe actually invades my UFE allies, things might change, but it all depends.

MOC QUALITY?

Gott im Himmel... not this again...

How good the bloody thing looks doesn't count in the least bit. The only thing that matters is physical effectiveness. I am a firm believer that very many rainbow-warrior type vehicles still under my command from Mag Strike's days are highly effective fighting vehicles- especially the gunships. Oh man, those are good gunships...

Oh, I see. Somehow I confused that with someone else's code name for a weapon. Sorry. If it's shorter, you can go through my airspace (with escort, of course).

I do not feel the same. I feel that good builders and good creations deserve more credit in combat than rapidly slapped together ones.

Not... exactly...

I'm just saying that things like being SNOT or colorized or such don't effect combat effectiveness AT ALL. There are no excuses here.

Oh, I do apologize for the mix up with my esoteric acronym; I'll be sure to clarify for future reference. Aside from that, I do thank you for your generous offering of airspace use; however, granted this unit is already in the Joint Aerospace Station within Oceania Africa the distance merely covers water with no immediate shortcuts. Again, I do appreciate your open-mindedness.

Of course the colors and techniques arent the key, it is the overall design, and practicality. A box with oversized wheels and a huge 1-shot rocket launcher (for example) would never even be effective in real life.
There is a reason that Weagle's aircraft are some of the best in the group, despite being the most rainbow colored. They have a pretty clean design, and highlights the functions that make the aircraft superior to others.

My "box" is highly effective if you would listen to how it operates. It's definitely not a one-shot deal, I explained how it reloads on Flickr.

There's nothing wrong with those wheels, just look at Algeria's MOCs. They don't get any cr@p from you, and they're about the same.

Oh right, a German ICMB was sent to Mongolia, early this morning, and managed to evade missile defenses which had not been set up yet. It struck the capitol, and major damage was induced. However, the Mongolian leader was not harmed, for he was safe in his underground evil lair.
