So your lazy non-building/judging former groupmates have handed you a Round Three berth on a silver platter. But now it's time to bear down, you Group C brawlers, because the street fight is only going to heat up.

Your category was discovered in Al Capone's vault, and delivered in a plain brown envelope by a large gentleman in a dark suit who rumbled, "You'se dint see nuttin, copper," and it is...
"Earth History 101, Mars University, Class of 2713"

Post a link to your entry in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 20th, or be disqualified.

Once that deadline passes, post your scores for your groupmates' entries in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 23rd, or be disqualified.

This round, the one lowest-scoring player per group will be cut.

Further cuts to even up the groups next round will be taken if necessary.

It would be nice to have a round where no one gets disqualified, okay?

Well gentlemen, the way things are going right now, it doesn't look like I'm going to get an entry in on time. Work and final exams have taken all my building time for the last week. I'll try my best to get something together by midnight but I'm not getting my hopes up. Anyways, good luck in the next round!

The deadlines are, and always have been, on MOCpages time.

We had two rounds of leniency where you probably wold have been given a pass by your groupmates. Those days are gone.

You're out.

I don't think you should disqualify me, I was only 20 minutes passed the deadline, not hours.

Stuart Delahay- 5 - Funny, great builds... awesome!

Josh!- 4 - The pics were a bit blurry and for some reason, i found the story hard to follow. But... the builds looked great!

Phil Rumsfeld- 4 - the build was a bit simple but the story did get a few good chuckles out of me.

Cade- 3.5 - okay, technically this was just a couple of figs in front of a window but it was pretty funny.

I agree with Shannon, it would be great to have a round without DQs. Still, we get two. Sorry Justin, but there were enough warnings in the last two rounds and Josh nearly fell foul of this too. Speaking of Josh.....

Josh 3.3 points. You posted 5 minutes before the deadline, then a day later changed a lot of your photos, added photoshopped titles and changed the title and text. Not really in the spirit of the contest and makes having a deadline a bit pointless, although there is nothing in the rules against it. Im scoring on your original post, which was a bit harder to follow, the photos werent as good, but still had some very cool details and ideas. Its as fair as I can be.

Cade 2 points. You gave me one chuckle with the janitor, but no real building, no Mars University, no Earth history. I wanted more.

Phil Rumsfeld 3.8 points. Some great laughs (Mans best friend treaty of 2101) and good ideas. Would have benefited from a slightly bigger base or building it in two halves as it sometimes looked a bit cramped and I think it affected the photos you took.

Jason Corlett 4.5 points. Im really glad you got a build in. The stars here are the drones, but its nicely bookended with the robot and nurse vigs. And is that a crossbow-buzzsaw launcher in the battle scene? That alone deserves something.

Due to DQs I suspect well all advance again, so good luck everybody.

alright. this was the most... 'interesting' category yet.

Cade-- 1
Cade, Cade, Cade. I'll give you a 3 for the humor alone (I didn't like it much.) then I'll go on to grade you on the one thing you did build, the bus without wheels. It was terrible. my grandma could beat that. that leaves us at a 2. then we move on to not using the category. there were around 2 pictures of some tiny, hard to read writing. there was no mention of mars university, so points off for that too.

Stuart Delahay-- 4.5
very nice 3D on the blackboard, and all the figs were nice. I feel like I've seen that 'aliens misinterpreting the media' theme someplace before, were you inspired by anything? also, where are those green people from? If you had the time, backgrounds for the blackboard vigs would have been nice, but I'm just nitpicking.

Jason Corlett-- 3.5
We really Expect better of you, Jason. The classroom and nurse were effective, if fairly simple. The mech was nice, and you were going to work a mech in here at some point, so it's good to get that out of the way. I feel like you took the focus off of the actual class, and I personally dislike that, so... mildly disappointing. Overall, It just was missing something.

Josh-- 2
although I didn't see this page-changing, I think that that sort of thing should wait until your MOC has been judged, so you are graded on a scale of 3. also, It still doesn't make much sense, so 2.5. the little components seemed thrown-together, just mindless stacking, so you get a 2.

and Justin R.- It looks sort of odd to see your entry right BELOW your DQ notice.

Ok, Here are the scores from me:

Cade- 1point: I could follow the story, but ther isn't much building so that's why only one point.

Stuart Delahay: 5 points

Jason Corlett: 4 points. Very nice photos and also a strong build, but not really enough to give you five points.

Phil Rumsfeld. I struggeled with this one. I see much effort, but stumbled over the photos a bit. The building it self seems quite nice for me, so you get 3 points, at least for the humor.

Stuart: Wow! Excellent! I liked your use of humor and the build was good! 5

Jason: I loved those walkers and the futuristic chalk board! 5

Phil: Funny. 4

Josh: Oh my God... 5

Jsh, I am going to dock a half point from your final score because I did see your entry as it was originally posted, and verified that you changed (improved) the presentation before judging was over.

I know a few of your groupmates already punished you for it in their scores, but I'm piling on as a way of saying "not cool." I don't think you intentionally set out to cheat, but the result is essentially the same.

I think it's possible for me to accept that :)
