So your lazy non-building/judging former groupmates have handed you a Round Three berth on a silver platter. But now it's time to bear down, you Group B brawlers, because the street fight is only going to heat up.

Your category was scribbled on a napkin in a Seattle sports bar by a sobbing drunk after yet another gutwrenching Mariners loss, and it is...
"Song and Dance Number"

Post a link to your entry in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 20th, or be disqualified.

Once that deadline passes, post your scores for your groupmates' entries in this thread by 11:59 pm, June 23rd, or be disqualified.

This round, the one lowest-scoring player per group will be cut.

Further cuts to even up the groups next round will be taken if necessary.

It would be nice to have a round where no one gets disqualified, okay?

Well, I'm not exactly sure either. One take on it would be to make a MOC about a song with a dance routine. I have one other idea, too; but I'm not sure how good it is; plus I'd like to keep it secret. I wish I could help more.

Man, I'm stuck in here with the best builders in the hardest category. Group A's category is so easy, but I'm not in Group A unfortunately. I don't have any ideas right now, but I'll think of something. Not really sure how I could help anyone else too.

Well, good luck everyone!

Alright after some good brainstorming (get it? storming?) I finally made Singing in the Rain. One of the most famous song and dance numbers. Here's the link:

It has a silly twist too. :P

Here's my entry : http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/208883

I know that Casey already put up a "Singing in the Rain entry, but I've been working on this for the last week, so I can confidently say that it was in no way influenced by his. Best of luck to the all of you!

I don't like musicals either, but come on.

Casey McCoy - 3.25 pts. Good build (especially the railings) and the twist was a nice detail.

Wes Pitter - 4.5 pts. It's all great, especially the stage.

Legolord . - 0.5 pts. The build is great, but the category is "Song and Dance Number" not "Song, Dance, and Number." I don't see your entry fitting into the category, but I didn't want to give you a 0 because you did put effort into your build.

Casey McCoy - 4.5 I liked the build and the extras somehow added to it.

Ethan M. - 4 Nice job.

Legolord - 4 Despite not meeting the exact criteria of the category, I'm inclined to see things your way this time.

Extremely busy again, but I have managed to get fair sized reviews up. Reviews are in chronological order.

Wes Pitter - It Makes Everyone Seem So Small - For this one, I felt that it was a song, but there was no dance number. This category has equal parts to it. Music and dance. The official music video and the MOC didn't have any dancing in it at all. Although, you did have very nice builds, and the lyrics were funny, but I still felt it seemed out of context. Sorry, but I'm giving you a 2.

Ethan M. - Singin' in the Rain - Funny and strange how we both did the same song and dance number without even mentioning it to each other! I'm glad that I didn't pick the part that you did! Anyway, very nice job overall. The music notes were creative, but a bit hard to follow at first. Store had great interior, and the street lamp looked great. This MOC was instantly recognizable and you did a great job. I feel you earned a 4.33.

LegoLord . - The Final Countdown - This MOC shares the opinions of Wes Pitter's entry (kind of). Once again, sure it was a song, but there was no dance! And the song only kind of went along with the build. I thought that the build was very good, but not in this context. Sorry, but I'm giving you a 2.

Alright, that's all folks!

I knew I was screwed the moment I saw the category, so I'm going to exploit Shannon's system to the extreme. I'm sure it will make him happy.

Here's how it works, if you're good to me I'm good to you, if your bad to me, I'm bad to you.
If I'm going down, somebody is coming with me.

So, Casey McCoy: I liked your build, but since you gave me a 2, I'll give you a 1.8.

Wes Pitter: Your build was decent, but I'm giving you a 4.7 because you treated me well.

Ethan M.: I think giving me 0.5 points was a bit ridiculous, so I'm giving you 0.3 points.

Good luck Wes.

Hahahahaha!...wow. Oh well, that's the nature of the contest, so if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. To which I ask Shannon, can we change our scores?

Too bad the number of DQ's has thus far reduced the scoring to a mere formality. PonyLord last round and LegoLord this round are trying to make things interesting...
