Getting Kicked for Glitching
Join to comment
So, my friend at school just got banned from Reach's multiplayer because he leveled up too fast, and was three ranks away from the highest rank. He did this WITHOUT glitching and now he is banned from for two weeks. They took ALL his items, even ones he got for pre-ordering the game. His friend ACTUALLY glitched and has not been caught. Anything like this happen to you guys?

He actually wants to sue, property theft, faud, and something else I don't remember. But, I don't think it would hold up in court.

They are not stealing them, only confiscating. Still, It wouldn't hold up because Bungie is a large company. He is teenager. They would say he had no "proof".

I think it is just terrible Bungie would do that when they themselves have no proof.

He doesn't even know. He wasn't glitching so it would actually be very easy to find out. They would have to track his I.P. address. If he kept logging in and out in a really short period of time (say ten minutes) there is reasonable proof. But he wasn't. I don't think Bungie realizes there are really good players out there...
