Their are five types known to me-

M12 LRV (Regular Turret
M24 LAAG (Guass Turret)
Rocket Hog (self explainitory)
Passenger Hog (you know)
Cheifs Transport (Anvil Missle Launcher in back.)

Partially correct. It was those three plus the Midsummer's Night and MAYBE just maybe the Finnegan's Wake.

Halo: Combat Evolved, 2, 3, and Wars are the games I recall including him. Well, there's some uncertainty about Reach, with the cryo tube and statue.

Your thinking of the un-named cruiser in Halo 3. High Charity was taken over by the Flood at Delta Halo, shot off parts of itself at the Ark and then crashed into the Ark.

Here's what I think will be a tricky one:
At the Halo CE level "Keyes", Master Chief punches into Jacob Keyes flood-controlled skull to retrieve his neural implants.
Although Bungie's intention was never a punch.

How was John-117 originally going to retrieve the implants?

I guess it was a pretty difficult question.
The correct answer is: Burning the skull open.
This didn't happen because A: The flamethrower wasn't included in the final version of CE and B: It was deemed too gruesome (there was done extensive research on burnt skulls.)
