What do you preffer?

Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, the futures version of a paratrooper.

But why are all marines reffered to as troopers in Halo Reach.

Seriously? Spartans are better, mostly due to their armor, but also... well, they just own, as you said. :D

Some Shangheili have been gave the same amount of training as Spartans. Thel Vadamee is an example.

Shangheili are on a sort of honor system. This system is very strict, getting wounded on the battlefield means you must die.

They aren't wierd, Brutes are wierd.

Elites have sweet armor and the mouth with four mandibles, talk about fierce.

Based on this and the fact that Spartans are Humans and I'm a Human (Go Humans!). Plus, Spartan armor is very neat and the whole legenadary/hero feeling to them is cool.

I'm also a fan of the human race. I got really pumped when I heard about ODST, favorite soldiers (ODSTs) fighting in my favorite ombat environment (cities).

The Spartans are good and all but they aren't really my favorite. The armor doesn't look too good in my eyes. Except for the Mark V armor.

A couple things bug me about how people make Spartans on the pages, and even in Reach.
1. Sand green Master Cheif? Ugly.
2. Red Spartans, yellow, pink? How is that going to conceal you?
3. Everyone seems to make up there own team, which isn't that accurate most of the time. It's fine if you want to do that, but I won't. (Tom and Lucy from my Marine page are from Ghosts of Onyx).
4. Some people cut (EVIL) a grill piece to make the Spartan taller. To me it looks aweful, who has that long of a torso?

Oops I've rambled off topic... again.

Long rant is Long. Elites ftw.

Their voices are just awesome. It's like, puberty ACTUALLY HAS A PLUS for them. I mean, who wouldn't want to sound that bamf?

One thing that I found disappointing in Reach was that the Marines just were too useful.

Thel renounced his "EE" in Halo 3 when he became a heretic.

I prefer the spartan for the same reason everyone else does. Obviously they are the good guys so they get more "attention" They have more armor available and they are all depicted doing epic stuff, while the elites are the ones in the cutscene/photo having the epic stuff done to them.
