Hey, Jonathan lopes has a great page. He does a lot of fire stuff, but he is a big layout builder with some outstanding photos of his work.

Hey guys! What's been going on? Looks like people are still joining, but no one is talking or posting. Nathan, what do you think we should do to drum up interest? The contest I recommended doesn't seem to be drawing any entries. Anyone who has any ideas let us know. Were open to suggestions.

Hello Chaps,
Sorry I haven't been more active with the latest contest. I'm getting married in less than 2 weeks and my time has been taken up with stress and more stress. I was lucky to produce my latest 2 vehicles but I had to do something to keep me sane. I probably won't add an entry for this latest contest as I will be away on honeymoon til the 16th of November. After that life should return to normal, well I'm hoping anyway.

Andy, that is great news. I very happy for you. I hope you realize that life will adjust to a new kind of "normal". It won't be quite like it was before, but it can be so much better! Good luck on the big day. Regards.
Eric :-P

Thank you, Eric. You have a brilliant way of putting things. I hope the new kind of normal won't stop me with my lego lol. Seriously though, I'm really looking forward to it, getting quite nervous now. Might have to get the lego out to calm my nerves.

Everyone, I think we should all welcome Ken Osbon. His vehicles have been a great inspiration to me and the have factored in my building style more than those of any other builder. Welcome!!!

Hey all! I guess I'll just fill you in on my busy week of building. With the winter hauling season approaching, I've been building a ton of trucks and trailers. This week I built two Landoll 455 trailers, three trailer jeeps, a specialized long-load trailer, and a hotshot trailer. I also built a second KT Ford F450 pickup, and a support trailer for WRF/R. Expect to see them on my page soon!

Ok Franky boy no teasing, so spill the beans. Your city looks good so far.. I know how hard it is to start from scratch again. My ambition is to build 2 cities ( mine and my kids). Having only returned to lego myself 5 months ago i find it difficult to stop myself from buying everything that lego have put out in the last 10 years to build a city of some substance. Cheers Oggy.

Nathan, check out the latest post from Exile 31. It has some great looking photos of his modular buildings. Great build. These would make a great new icon shot for the group. Brian's new posting of his strip mall would work well too.

wow! you might rethink this over time, it s been almost 2 years i m at this, and honestly,
i m glad it s over, my structure is that i provide the city services, and the kids have their own buisnesses and houses, my girlfriend has hers, and i have one too, [not yet], there might be a more economical way to do it, but, it cost me about $5000 to get where i m at, + the storage place and buildings storage place, i hope you have a very big house for 2 cities, it s a very interesting and ambitious concept, but, i m curious as to how you suggest to manage this, for cybercity s future and yours, i start an ecological group, based on the cradle to cradle architecture concept, and i d like people who are imaginative, to invent all sorts of ecological solutions to our problems. the color coding is evident from a look at my creations,so if possible, respect it, i will redo the municipal garage, and recycling facility, and it s design. i will incorporate the best system in it, mine or someone elses!
the person will be credited, and might get a permanent character, full control over it s actions and text [speach]. i will make animations on u-tube and further...

Aawww crap NOW you tell me... Seriously its to late i have brought a 40' shipping container to set up as a permanent Lego display room. Watch for updates of my build. As for the cost, it will probably be over 10,000 by the time its complete , and that is excluding Lego. We dont have enough room in our house, and in an effort to reclaim the lounge room floor and to safeguard expensive buildings from 3-5 year old kids that belong to friends, a dedicated lockable area seemed like a good idea. Plus if you want to build a "city" or train display packing it up every time someone rings to say they are coming over with there feral little monsters is impractical
and annoying. A dust free enviroment is also handy (and near an imposibility in Australia) thus a container seemed better than a shed .
