You read that right, PRIZES! And this isn’t going to be like the MOCie awards where the prizes are “donated” but never shipped. These prizes are coming straight from your judges so you WILL actually get them! (If they wish to identify themselves they may)

There will be prizes for 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd and 4th place AND (here’s the kicker that you kids will like) a prize for the builder age 15 or under who makes it the furthest! IF the young builder happens to make it to the final 4 (which I’d LOVE to see) then they will receive the prize for the final 4 and the young builder prize will go to the next young builder in line. Sorry, you don’t get two prizes here. Nice try though. hahaha

Good luck to all the contestants

Cool. As long as the contest doesn't go past January 24th, I have a chance for the 15 and under prize. Thanks to all the judges for getting prizes.

thats cool, i think thats a good idea for a 15 and under, has a fifteen year old ever win or make it to the top 4?

Well, Sven Junga won the first MocOlympics and he was like... 14 at the time? I might be mistaken on that but he was young.

I think he was older than that, because he turn's eighteen this tear and that was only two years ago, right? So he was probably 15 or 16.

I'm 15 now but I will be 16 over the course of the contest (5th september) and I was wondering what are the rules on that? That is if I were to somehow get far.

I think you won't tell us what the prizes exactly are...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say they'll most likely be Lego... But that's just a guess.

Without going in to too much detail (because the thread would be 400 pages long here) the short answer is no. Once you turn 16, you are no longer eligible for the 15 and under prize. As a consolation prize through, at least you'll be able to drive to the store to get your own Lego! HAHAHA

Think of this as just MORE incentive to make it to the final 4. Good luck!

So, would one have to make it to about Round 4 or 5 to get the prize? Doo de doo, just wondering.

You just have to be the one under 15 who gets the furthest. Not sure what round that'll be...

I'm 11 so if I do the math correctly, I will get that prize if I make it that far.

I feel vignettes but I think this will be like when someone asks you to tell a joke, your mind goes blank and nothing good comes out.

Quite nice to add to your collection? We're actually having a contest to find out who the biggest stalker is and... ummm... as long as we don't find someone who lights candles at a shrine looks like you're in the lead so... congratulations! HAHAHAHA
