I appreciate the good wishes for continuing Zak, but dropouts like this are very frustrating, both for opponents like me and for the judges/ organisers.
I've been on a family holiday this week, got back from camping on Friday night, so i've had two nights to build, photograph and post and i've got an entry ready for posting in a few hours after my children go to sleep and I can get my photos done. I appreciate school is very important, but if you knew you had school commitments then even entering this contest was inadvisable in the first place. At the very least you could have posted earlier in the week if you were going to forfeit.
Sorry to sound like a whiner, especially when I will now advance, but we just finished the MOB Rules contest run by Shannon Young and it was littered with dropouts all the way through. It makes the people who take the time to run these things question their efforts and whether they would do it again.
