Judges needed!
 Group moderator
Alright, here's the deal...

We've been trying to figure out what the best way to judge this little side event would be. We had a lot of good ideas but this was the one we settled on.

YOU get to judge! Ok, not ALL of you, but three of you. Three players who are NOT going to participate in the building portion will be chosen from the volunteers that sign up below and you three will be the judges of this contest.

Now, the rules aren't quite as strick as the MocOs. Basically, all the players (including the judges) have to do is pick the category and build something in it. Two of the judges have already done that and mine should be up soon (hopefully by the end of the week... but time will tell).

The side event judges will simply vote for which moc they like better. Three judges, two votes needed to win.

So... who will it be? Sign up if you're interested and we'll select three judges for this even very soon.

Thought there would be a long list by now...if no one minds my humble, but purist, opinion I'll gladly do some judging :)

When are you going to announce the judges?

Why, are you in a hurry?

Remeber guys. Be fair, be impartial and have integrity in your decisions. We're counting on you guys to show that TFOLs can step up to the plate here.

Put your votes on the entries just like we're doing over in the Olympics. If you have any questions, let us know!

Good luck!

should i judge in comments on your mocs, or in a thread in this group, cause the way it'll work out is that you'll end up with like 40 comments on your entry by the judges

It would only add 3 comments to each moc. It's the way we do it in the Olympics so it should be the same here.

so we comment on the challeengers moc who won

You comment on the challengers moc AND the judges moc. At this point, we've only got a few entries challenging the judges.

Here's what I'd suggest for cutting down on comments on judges mocs though:

When you "vote" simply have one comment but edit it as you make decisions. Sure, it'll get bumped to the end of the comment cue but that's not a problem.

So just put like You vs x I vote for x. you vs Y I vote for Y.

Then, when a new challenger pops up, you just edit the comment. Hope that makes sense...

Wait...what?! I'm 34. I blame Arthur Floren for writing "Cīmon all you AFOLīs!I know youīre out there!". That's why I signed up :) Am I still allowed to judge?

Since most TFOLs are better builders than I am, I take it as a compliment :) Ok, I'll get right on it then.
