If that was a slight (which I suspect it was), that was low. While you may not personally like Ru or his creations, at least afford him some respect, for he is one of the best TFOLs around in both skill and character. Besides, the MocOlympics are not a definitive measure of ability, and category, opponent, and time frames all play a major part.

I find it hilarious, but it also makes me respect Heath all that much more.

I'm not one for the "nice" approach, so I can't stayed out of the argument, but I think that Mark is being absolutely ridiculous.

That said, I find social rules, religion, and a number of other things to be ridiculous (not trying to start an argument, just stating my point of view), but what's most ridiculous of all is how he's bowing out in the top 8 of one of the two largest contests on MOCpages. All he does is have to suck it up and interpret it differently than what he thought.

I'm totally fine with people doing wacky things because of what they believe in, be they Christian, Atheist, Muslim or whatever... No one should be pressured to do something they don't feel comfortable doing, and they should never be judged about it.
The annoying thing is that he himself judged those who would find no problem with the category, saying it was "degrading to our hobby" and such...
