As for parodies of Gangnam style I especially liked the Kim Jong one and one in hebrew. Any others worth watching?

I meant 1000 000 000. MOCpages has a good anti-spam system.

Mitt Romney Style. Just make sure no one with sensitive ears is in the room, because it cusses a bit.

That was kinda the point. A real candidate would never act like that, which makes it all the funnier.

I feel obligated to point out that "cuss" is really just a mispronunciation of "curse" which became common language.

I loved that video.

I think Romney was a little easier because he's actually rich (Obama's wealthy but not nearly as much) and his policies and comments praised/benefited the wealthy.

His policies were more democratic-capitalistic, while Obama's ideals tend to be more democratic-socialistic.

(those are terms from Hebrew so I don't know if thats how you say it in America or not, I'm probably close though)

Well, I dunno about you guys, but I frankly believe that 2012 has been a particularly lousy year for pop music. Tune in to your local teenybopper station, and they're still playing "Let Me Give Your Heart a Break", "Driveby", and that Neon Trees song that was awesome until radio stations rode it to death -- that's all stuff from, like, March, and now we're in flippin' December! That isn't supposed to happen! :P Here's to hoping we get a greater variety of commercialized earworms next year...

In terms of music? Well, I've been hooked on this song by Parov Stelar titled "Simple". Not sure if it's a lesser-known, unlisted track, or remix of his infamous "Catgroove" piece. Either way, I personally find the classic style of music combined with modern day music is quite excellent.

You guys need to check out Vintage Trouble... they opened for the concert I was at, and they were awesome. They play classic rock music (kind of like modern Chuck Berry stuff).

Also, just found The Glitch Mob on Pandora- they're great too.

The Epic Rap Battles of History videos can be entertaining, especially if you know the background of the people they're making fun of. There's a fair bit of cursing though.

Magma showed those to me. I hate rap. But this is like a parody of rap, so it is not that bad. It is horrid, but funny. Like farts. They smell awful, but are hilarious.

And that is why I like to fart excessively.

So I heard "gangnam style" this weekend while skiing (not by my own decision for the former).

How can something so average be so popular?

The song itself is sort of lame. But the video is what made it popular.
