Allow me to sort of, set things in order. Not much sense is to be found in what peeps are doing and saying. I'm not saying you guys are bad, just sayin'.

I
-Fortresses are Tough-
When have you seen a guy with a sword rush into a fortified lair, decapitate all the guards and shut down the security system? In movies, y'say? Well, that's Hollywood common sense for ye. When you're outnumbered, outgunned, and alone, you have to rely on stealth. Got some Tactical Nukes? You're good to go. Otherwise, there's not much else you can do to wipe a base of the map.
II
-Things stick to You-
Injuries. Knives. Bullets. Semtex Grenades. Unless you or a party member is a Combat Medic, you're probably going to be LF Healer for a while.
III
-NPC=Player-
I cannot stress this enough. NPCs cannot, will not, never have nor ever will, be easy to kill. Quite simply, when everyone is super-powered, no one is.
IV
-Science: Know your Limits-
The laws of Logic, Inertia, Gravity, 'n Motion all apply to you and everyone else. No bending the universe to your best interests. *Cough, Hank, cough Kor cough cough*
V
-Plans don't always go as Planned-
Scenario: You and a few dependable partners arm yourselves to take over an outpost. A good strategy, some tactics and luck will work almost every time. BUT, what if there's a small group of Skadi there, most of which are masochistic? What do? Oh! But so-and-so packed some Skadicide- in a spray can. Really? Just Really?
VI
-It's OK to Lose-
Stemming from point V, allow me to say this: You are going to lose. No matter what happens, no matter how much experience or ammo or weapons you have, at some point, you are going to not-win. It's OK. It's all good. It's just a game.
VII
-Take your Licks-
It's time to Duel. What happens when you are dodging every hit, or simply not being harmed (See Point II)? It's unfair. You can't matrix-dodge every hit possible, and you aren't invincible.
VIII
-Explain your Inventory-
Objects never appear out of thin air, unless fire or other elements are considered "objects". You must have a reasonable explanation for how the item came into your possession. This should be easy enough. You can always say, "I looted it from a corpse" or "I found it on the ground", but there's always room for creativity.

The list is subject to change and grow at any point in time.

Did you delete my comment, Quads? I swear...

At any rate, this seems like a good idea.

IX
-Premeditation-
Effective immediately, ALL CHARACTERS MUST have been posted as summaries in a Ch.thread. This is to ensure there are definitive boundaries for all characters. If a "surprise" character is desired, then a simple summation of that character's abilities is all that will be required.

X
-Logic, logic and logic-
This ties in with IV. Cause and effect has to make sense. The way thinks are made has to make sense, and, in the case of fighting something autonomous - and at a stretch, rahkshi - how that something will react? Will it have an inbuilt weakness? Would the ch. know that weakness(see below)? In any case, an event or a construct should mirror real-life.

XI
-Anti-omniscience-
While you can have a character who knows a great deal about history, culture and science - *points to Enias* - it is unlikely that they will know ABSOLUTELY everything. The chances of them knowing an outpost is guarded by invisible Nektann that arrived half a minute ago? Fat chance. Generally to solve this consider whether if YOU, as a person, would know it in such a situation.

XII
-Flexibility-
I probably have fallen foul of this. If you have a plan, some other chap has a plan, everyone has their own little plan - then, oh no! Something clashes! It's a good idea to sort it out quickly, fairly, and using involving compromise so everyone can get on with it.

XIII
-Do yo Research!-
This is critical to the continuity of the entire RP as a whole. If you're not quite familiar w/ thee Bioverse, Perhaps this'll help:

XIV
-Drowning, Fire, Electricity and other Hazards-
In some areas, you have to be careful. What with lava, water, poison gas, shock, radioactive waste and disease, you can NEVER be too careful.
XV
-Berserk/Rage/Temporary Invincibility-
Sure, you may be technically immortal, but you cannot enter a berserk where you don't take damage (Points II, VII and X)and can kill with one-shots.

XIV Expanded
-Standard Equipment may Vary-
Hazards can also be combated by proper equipment. Noxious fumes can be endured by specialized armor, as well as the vacuum of space. Frigid temperatures can be endured by wearing a lot of clothing, and the proper Kanohi can get you out of a tight spot.

One Last Thing:

Don't make cr*p up about the person you're fighting E.g their armour has an allergic reaction to yo plasma powers and BLOWS UP. Same's for NPCs. We are not in such a rush that we must sacrifice good problem solving for bad plot devices.

In a nutshell: OP is bad, it's okay to lose, thing have to make sense. ;)

Nuff said. ON WITH THE ROLEPLAY

...stands for As Active As Possible, and is generally something we want you to be. Emphasis on "POSSIBLE". If you're caught up in a disaster(Unemployment, Natural Disaster, Break-In, etc.) or are simply too busy, you won't be harangued for it.
