Round one starts as of NOW! And the round one rules are as follows:

Round one: Post an original superhero/crimefighter figure.
By original we mean no Superman/Batman/Spiderman/ect. No copyrighted big name heroes. Photo editing is allowed so long as the figure itself is not edited. All photos must be uploaded as ‘Large’. Judges will score the fig accordingly: Originality of build (1-5) Quality of photos (1-5) with a total possible score of 10.

Don't worry about building a background for the fig because round two is vignette, and don't tell us to much about you're superhero character just yet, that comes in round three, comics. Just concentrate on building a nice detailed and original fig with nice sharp photos, that's what will win you points with the judges.

If you have any questions, don't be hesitant to ask. We'll all be looking forward to seeing you're entries!

Okay guys, if you want to build more than one fig, that's fine. Just remember, round two will be an 8*8 vignette showing your heroes in action. It would be difficult to put 20 figs on an 8*8 space (Or 12*12, if you count the allowed overhang.) So just bear that in mind. If you do build 20 figs, I guess you can just use your favorites in the vig, or as many as you can fit. Round two will be judged by the build of the vig itself, not the figures as we will have already judged them in round one.

Oh yes, RK Blast and myself are BOTH acting as judges, so really the highest possible score is 20 points, not 10 points for round one. Everyone is allowed to play all three rounds, so if you lose points in round one, you have a chance to make them up in rounds two and three. Be sure to follow the rules carefully, each minor rule you brake will lose you one point. If you brake a major rule (Like, say, posting a custom Superman fig instead of something original) you could lose two or three points.

Okay, Round two is scheduled to begin this coming Monday. If you are still working on your build and need some more time, let me know as soon as possible, and I'll bump back the deadline a few days. Those who have finished building, upload the photos ASAP! Thanks.

Finally my entry is up! Sorry for being last minute, I can't keep a deadline to save my life :P

I'm not sure were people keep getting this idea about late entries. You're entries are not late unless you post them AFTER the 7th, which is today.

Okay, round 1 has closed. Thank you all who entered, We'll be looking forward to what you can come up with for round 2. Those of you who haven't posted anything, you may still enter round 2 provided you post something for round 1 first. However, a late entry will receive points deducted from the judges, but if you want to play, don't let that stop you. Oh, and if you're entry hasn't been judged by both judges yet, don't worry, We'll get around to it one of these days.
