I can imagine two different scenarios:
1. The whole thing takes place in Northern Russia where it's REALLY cold.
2. The Lion Knights and Dragon Knights don't ACTUALLY have a physical war, but they just call each other names and make threats. "My dad can beat up your dad!"

okay sorry about not responding. haha

well actually the Lion knights and Crownies are severely enemies and hate each other, and have had several encounters before. the dragon knights and "The wanderers" are supposedly allied but no one really knows. It happens in a setting much like Siberia and the "wanderers" are dark Elves. :) the wildlife here is much like that in an Ice age, and many of the war machines are large and ready for cold warfare.
