I've found a couple pictures of CASTLE's replacement, LEGO Kingdoms. Here's the main set:
http://i49.tinypic.com/313hjy8.jpg

And a larger set:
http://i49.tinypic.com/dzuyvc.jpg

There are several more, but I'm too lazy to find them again.
Brickipedia says:
"Kingdoms takes over the position of LEGO's medieval-related System playtheme from Castle. Unlike its predecessor, Kingdoms departs from the concept of a fantasy world inhabited by trolls and dwarves, and goes back to the idea of a more realistic world modelled after the European middle-ages. The only fantasy-element are the dragon-crests and a sorcerer minifigure. Thus, it features sets that are more reminiscent of the early sets of the first Castle theme.

In Kingdoms, two antagonist factions are pitted against each other, with one side in the role of the attackers, featuring more vehicles and siege engines, and the other in the role of the defenders with the emphasis on buildings. This setting makes the theme similar to the first Knights' Kingdom theme from 2000, but design-wise the sets are more in the tradition of Castle (2007)

Sounds cool to me, but I'm wondering more about the set design than the concept. I don't have any money to spend, as I've spent it all on the Imperial Flagship and a Bricklink order for more ship parts.
What do you think?

Um... You might want to go back and edit that post, Dude. Anyway... My honest opinion? I think they look hideous. Why? Well I like fantasy, I like medieval stuff too - but I really fell in love (Lust?) with the 'castle' sets that have been released within these last three years (Was it - really?) ... I'll end up blowing plenty of cash on these new ones (I know from experience that I'm a sucker for *ANY* Fantasy or Castle LEGO) but I'm gonna' miss the sets I've been collecting as of lately. End note? Meh... We shalt see.

(You know... I think I like those Prince of Persia sets better than these...)

Maybe I wanted to make my point really clear? :D
That's harsh...

I like it, I like it alot! Though considering the lack of fantasy pieces will no doubt inhibit there use in TAQ. It'll make for kingdoms to travel to. I think it'll be useful to my LEGO collection considering my lack of factions other than the crownies.

Clear? You fogged it up... I was greatly confused for a few seconds - thinking that maybe the 'Lord Lego 436' rcord had taken a big scratch and was repeating itself on mistake...

Why is that harsh? The return of 'limp' skeletons and the release of new head wraps? Sounds neat to me... I also think that movie will be pretty cool...

Yeah - maybe that's what turns me off. I have black falcons, forest men and many others... I like the guys they have, and I don't want to have to start collecting a new faction line of medieval soldiers (or baddies for that matter). I will, of coarse, but I won't like it...

I'm really liking the new helm and sword design for the knight in the second picture! I also like the concept for the new line, but I will miss the fantasy elements.

That 'great-helm' will be nice, especially for any crusader type soldiers... but I don't see any new sword designs. .

OMG!!! This is GREAT! I've been waiting for new Castle since I got all the latest sets! Any new Castle sets are welcome in my book. I only wish we would have gotten to see some Lego Elves before they switched themes. Anyways, this was totally unexpected to me. I thought they were stopping Castle for a while but I guess not. The new pieces look great. The color schemes look great. The big Castle looks a bit less complex than other recent Castles though, but I don't know. This does look a lot like the Classic Castle sets, so maybe if they are following that model, then there might be some more peasant-related sets in the future! *crosses fingers* :D

OMG! I didn't even notice that!
As I've made previously clear, I prefer older sets, and these seem to be in that style. Once I re-make my money, I'll buy some of the smaller ones, and the Castle if it's worth it. The Greathelm is needed, and the shield...
RICHARD LIONHEART!

Of course, the Castle lacks a baseplate... :(

I would have liked to see some elves too... that is too bad. I am going to seriously miss the 'Castle' theme, that's for sure!
But I am excited to see a faction that has the green color scheme (My favorite color - bar none!) so that will be way cool. I also hope we can see some more peasant stuff, I'm crossing my fingers with you, Graham!

Look at it little closer...well at least I think it's a new design, but then again I may be wrong =/
Even if that is a new design - I'm not sold. The last time the Lego Group released a new sword design it wasn't that great (Viking sword, remember?)... Yucky rubber-ish plastic...

Yep, Elves WOULD be nice. Of course, who knows what they'll do with this theme. And of course, my heart still skips a beat whenever I think of that GreatHelm.

What do you think I should spend my money on next? A Bricklink order for some green plates for better terrain, this stuff, or Mass Effect 2?

While I love bows, I have to say that I prefer crossbows. Much sturdier, and they actually stay in the minfigures' hand.

They do stay in the minifigure's hand better but they are always handy to have around for a forestman type character :)

No - bows are for soldiers, warriors, and rangers who can intelligently use them to take out enemies that are out of throwing-knife distance, or use them to stealthily kill sentries. And just because you don't use 'em, doesn't mean you wouldn't be grateful if a man who was skilled with the bow was backing you up on the battlefield!
