Hmm, can we combine certain themes with Groovepunk, like swooshable.com's fad masher?

As long as it fits in with the groovepunk requirements I have put down, if it doesn't fit it won't win!

If there aren't rounds exactly, does it matter which category we build first?

Nope, build them in whatever order you want!

Do I have to build in all the category? Or just choose what ones I want to build in?

Can we build for one category only?

You can build in one category, two categories, or all three categories, but you can only build one entry for each of the categories, which means that you could have 3 entries total.

You can build in only one category if you want, or you can build in all of them! But only one entry per category :)

Thanks, I just have a big dio on the go right now, so I will have to see what I can do. Good thing its a groovepunk contest and not like a "what can you build with only brown grey and black" contest, cuz I would be screwed. :P

Anything that is bright and makes a nice contrast, purple pink and lime green should be used if possible though but you can use more than that.

Well it will definitely be a fun contest either way ;)

As for a prize, I don't know, if any of the judges would be generous to donate them that would be awesome, but as for me I spent all my lego money in the beginning of the month so I don't think I'd be able to donate anything! We'll see! :)

Don't do prizes on my account, as I don't make a habit of giving my address out over the net. If there are prizes, I won't be competing for them, just for fun.

OK, well you'd have to win to get a prize if there was a prize ;)

Remember everyone, please don't start building until Dec 31!

Does everybody go against each other or 1 vs 1?

Its definitely not 1 vs 1, its more of the kind of contest where everyone posts their stuff and then we (the judges) choose our favorite ones.

""I HATE THIS MOC"" judging is the type of judging people with bad skills do. Nobdy has bad skills. They just need improvement... That's it is.

We won't be giving scores to creations, so yes we won't be doing I HATE THIS MOC judging.

I suggest you have it in your moc but try to make sure it doesn't form the center of the moc, it should be more like a detail and don't describe it in the writings,
that way you're doing nothing wrong

If the ship is micro as well, I would enter it in microscale. Vignette is meant to be a "normal" scaled vignette. And a ship is meant to be a "normal" or midi-scale sized ship.
