I don't really have a fav. movie, I like lots of series and other movies. But one of the movies that I HATE the most (other than the new Justin Bieber movie) is The Karate Kid (2010). The original is WAY better.

It's a suspense movie. Its genre is Horror, but it really is just a suspense film. You jump a few times, and there is the beginning with the [If I told you, it would ruin the scene] Scene with some blood.

I liked Super 8 a lot up until the end. You don't keep something for 15 years and then just decide to let it go. The ending to me was anticlimactic. Also, the reason nobody had said that is because it came out a while before someone decided to revive the topic.

<SPOILER ALERT>I thought the end was good because every time the kid looked at the watch it reminded him of his mom dying. It brought back bad thoughts. Basically the point was that anything that is troubling you, let it go. I liked that. Good story.

I have a short list of only some of my favorites, these movies are all fairly new, many of my favorites have escaped my brain for the moment.

-Avatar (seen it 4 times)
-The Source Code (3 times)
-Rise of the Planet of the Apes (1 time)
-Harry Potter 7, Part 2 (2 times)
-The Dark Knight (4 times)
-Inception (4 times)
-Coraline (4 or 5 times)
-Ironman (4 times)
-Toy Story 3 (2 times, didn't cry)
-Tron; Legacy (2 times, loved it for the visuals, the eye candy, but the story was a little weak)

Those are all the ones I can remember right now, I'm positive there are more.

Well in my opinion it was pretty sad, ***SPOILER WARNING***

Because he give the little girl all his toys and then there woodie at the bottom of the box and the girl really likes woodie because she had him before (but then he escaped) and so she really want woodie but Andy can't decide if he should give it to her but it ends up he does and you can see that woodie looks a little sad as he watches Andy is getting in the car (he's going to collage) and Andy looks back in the review mirror and says "Thanks Guys." (I guess he was thanking them for the fun they gave him) that's when I cried.

Anyway you might have already seen.

What? I don't think I'd ever cried a little at any movie other than the end of Marley & Me and Toy Story 3. I never was able to see it in a theatre anyway, so it wasn't like public humiliation. Didn't you even start to get sad when they could have almost died by fire?! I don't know what kind of effect Toy Story had on you, but to me and a ton of other people, we grew up with Woody and Buzz. Think about it, what if you gave up a toy that you had kept for ten or more years and it was your absolute favorite. There's a big connection that was made to a lot of people. Also, when's the last time you cried? What was the reason? Unless it was for scraping a knee when you were five, I wouldn't laugh. (And I find it kind of hard to believe anyone could have not cried at least a few times in their life after they can control sadness and pain.)

Well, although Jack the monkey is undead, he's still there, but Cotton's parrot can still be seen in the bottle, too. They could still be alive somewhere. If Blackbeard killed them and since he didn't save any to Zombiefy, Will is still the keeper of the dead and making sure they make it to the land of the dead, there could be a plot that would require for Jack and Barbosa to require members of their old crews. And if you infer the ending of 3 with the green flash, Will could have brought back Governor Swan for Elizabeth and the kid. You know, seeing as The Green Flash is when a soul comes back from the death, it is still possible for them to return. This is a supernetural film franchise we're talking about; dead men do tell tales.

Hhhm, so I watched "The Purge" the other day. Pretty creepy/scary movie. I was thinking about it though, and I was actually wondering if it would be better to have just 12 hours of all out violence one time a year, instead of minor or even major, violence through the year. I think I would just take a trip out of the country for a few days.

I think I would just take a trip out of the country for a few days.

I saw it, too. It really wasn't scary but it does seem like an ideal situation. Would it be ethical for the country to wipe out all the homeless and jobless? Unemployment was down to 1% because all the people without jobs weren't around anymore. But then you have people like the veteran who came back from serving the country but had nothing to come back to, which is what happens to more veterans than you would think. Would you be willing to sacrifice some random guy who is completely inoccent of everything except for just exsisting in order to save your family? I mean it is 1 life for 4 others. It did seem short for a movie though. For something where the real main goal was to make the viewers think about their morals and what is considered ethical, they did a good job, but they didn't take the time to make the suspenseful moments more suspenseful or to show the new laws being ratified or even previous events from past purgesjust to show how it became a success other than those short clips from security cameras. Also, the dad had the best action scenes and then there was nothing that the mom or the two kids did. Even the veteran didn't do anything until the neighbors showed up. They could have expanded the story or something than just having a 90 minute movie.

Yeah I agree, I would have liked to see why the purge became such a success. And you're right, the kids hardly did anything except almost get killed.

This is a supernetural film franchise we're talking about; dead men do tell tales.

Not according to the New films title. :P

Well it's obviously a misdirect. Influenced by the first movie? I say they're going to bring back a few characters that were fan favorites that weren't in Stranger Tides. If 4 seals those characters' fates and there is nothing more that can be done...

I saw World War Z like two months ago, and it's probably one of my favorite movies now.

True. Ragetti, Pintel, and Marty are my favorites, and the Fourth film seemed way less... Piratey? Without them. :( I mean, Scrum was good and all, but he's not Jacks crew at all.

I also heard Orlando Bloom being interested in continuing to play the role of Will if it ever came up. I know that the story becomes more confusing when he's involved but it's just not quite the same. Elizabeth can take a side seat to raise the boy, but Will is still able to be all "Swash Swash Buckle Buckle"

That would be epic if he helped Jack out in a sea battle. :D

Even as the eldest active member of this group, anything that my family does not own that is over 20 years old, I most likely have not seen.

Alien and Aliens. If you want to watch Alien 3; cool, but don't watch Alien Resurrection. No; just don't.
I liked Prometheus and if there is a sequel, I think it ties in to Alien. If nothing else, it is a spin off that takes place in teh same universe.

Soylent Green is very tedious as nothing really happens for awhile, yet there is something about it.

Contagion was interesting.

If you have a chance, there is a 6 hour telemovie of Stephen King's The Stand and it was awesome!

Elysium was good, that's Sci-Fi and Dystopian.

Good luck on your searches.

Oh yeah, and The Matrix. People say the sequeals aren't all that good, but I don't mind them, so if you want, it's Reloaded, and then after that, you have to watch Revolutions. It's kind of two parter movie like Back to the Future Parts 2 and 3 where the ending happens and there is a preview for the next one because there's kind of a cliffhanger, actually there is a cliffhanger.

Yeah, The Matrix is awesome! I think the sequels are alright, but I haven't watched them in a few years, maybe I'll watch them again...
