Not necessarily. Dave Filoni never said anything would be tied up, just that all the episodes had been finished that they had already started. Now I do think that some rewriting would have been done in order to give it a proper ending, but there is also the possibility of it just cutting off again. The biggest cliffhanger so far being that thing with Darth Maul. If they tie that up, I'll be good. But think about it; it could easily cut off randomly as it started. There is no defined time as to when the time period of the Clone Wars Movie really started, just that it happened after a few select canonical battles established in the previous Clone Wars series and EU. There could be no beginning invasion on Coruscant, but that's cool, just so long as I find out what happened with Darth Maul.

I can confirm that in early 2014 you will be watching the final episodes of The Clone Wars

Yeah, I agree. We NEED to know what happens with Maul. I'm still mad about them killing off Savage and Visla. :1. Savage was better than Maul in the TV show, and closer to Maul in Episode 1. I don't like how Maul is more calm.

Well, we are seeing a different side to him. Think of it this way, he had to not attract Palpatine's attention until the time was right, unfortunately, it didn't quite go as planned, but Maul was also supposed to be part of the Clone Wars had he not been bisected. He has a lot of political tactics we never saw from Episode I. When he's not up against Obi-Wan, he's calm because he's looking at a grand scheme in order to do the things he plans. Any other Jedi and he cuts them down, but when it's Obi-Wan, he loses focus on the big picture and just needs to make sure he lives and Obi-Wan dies or runs away. Now that I think of it, it's almost Batman and Joker thing where Obi-Wan, although he is willing to kill Maul when armed, will probably never kill him unless some miracle happens again, and Maul won't kill Obi-Wan until the opportune moment because he's just too much fun to mess with unless he absolutely would have to kill him. Maul is stratagizing everything.

Savage, as sad as it was to see him go, do you really think he had the potential to become a Sith Lord? He's only willing to kill because Maul says to. He didn't like killing the people on Raydonia to get the Jedi Order's Attention. Except for when he was under hypnosis when he first became a big bad guy, or when Maul is all mad at him, Savage is a pretty big softy. Still, I love him.

Vizsla was a guy I could go either way with. Great character, but other than him building his own empire, and a not too powerful one except for when he was with Maul and the syndicate, he'd have been wiped out by the Empire in the long run.

Ahsoka is also one of those characters that I could go either way with. I would have prefered her die because it would have been a most glorious death and the biggest deal would have been made of it, but then again, now she can be a normal person who could be an ally to the rebelion and since she is not Anakin's Padawan, which was my biggest problem with her, she seems better off being a stand alone character.

Also just waiting for the day Rex dies. That will be a sad day if we ever see it. How else is Appo supposed to become Commander of the 501st?

Good analysis. At first I hated Ashoka, but she's better now. Wonder if she'll be in the next season. I REALLY want to know what happens to Rex, but I have a feeling I won't like it.

I'm having some higher hopes for Star Wars Rebels.
http://starwars.com/news/nycc-2013-meet-the-inquisitor-the-new-face-of-evil-in-star-wars-rebels.html

I only watched the Clone Wars up to about Season 3, I hated it when they switched it to Saturday morning. What season is it currently on? I also wish that the new Rebels show would be on Cartoon Network, as I do not get the Disney XD channel. But makes sense since Disney owns the Star Wars franchise now.

It's time for another Movie Review with MCLegoboy!

So if you didn't know, I am a big fan of Avatar, both The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, but not James Cameron's Avatar, and now M. Night Shyamalan's...

The following review (rant) does contain spoilers, so if you really want to see The Last Airbender, turn away now. If you are also opposed to super long comments, you may not want to read this either, but if you do, enjoy the ride!

I really did want to see The Last Airbender, even after everyone hated on it. After hearing about it, I still wanted to, if for no other reason than to see how bad it really was. Here is a video that depicts some of the things wrong with the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSOzeeoVQOY

So yes, the movie starts off with Katara narrating words on the screen. Uh, what? Just do what the show did and actually show some stuff than just the words. Not only that, they mess those up too. Not it does make sense that the Spirits create balance in the world, and that without the Avatar to be a bridge, the nations will not comply, but still, never in the show is it stated that the spirits really create balance, that is just a biproduct. I'm sure more will be revealed in the current Season of Korra though.

But anyway, the movie is full of inconsistencies. They start in the South Pole which is correct, but Katara and Sokka are not in a boat and find Aang in bubble in an Iceberg. They are on land, then just happen to look down through some ice and see something and pick at the ice. I can forgive it, but the whole point of being in the water was so Katara accidently discovered Aang after causing the iceberg to break apart.

Anyway, Sokka uses his boomerang to pick at the ice but it's a weird question mark shaped thing, yeah. He also has a club thing that is never seen again unlike the show.

They just have Aang give himself up to Zuko instead of fight and then there is that weird test to see if he is the Avatar. Had they let him fight and prove he was an Airbender, they would be fine in taking him.

Katara and Sokka are told to go help Aang even though his name is never asked of him until what should have been days to the Southern Air Temple, but anyway, they are told to help him by Gran Gran who was the only good cast of the whole movie since she looked like the character from the show. They find Aang and then get to the Air Temple. Everything is in order. Well, Aang goes into the Avatar State and finds a Dragon Spirit. I can only imagine this is Roku's Dragon, but we'll never know now.

The next stop is at some area in the Southern Earth Kingdom. It's a combination of Kioshi Island, Haru's village, and the prison in the water. It all takes place on main land, Haru is 7, and the prison is just a wall. Apparently the people of the South Earth Kingdom give up easily if threatened. The good guys win, happy day.

Next Stop is a montage of an Earth Kingdom village, one deleted scene suggests it is the one Aunt Wu "The Fortune Teller" is from, but it's full of black people, but it's also acceptable because it isn't ever explained. Katara is seen putting up a sign of Aang's picture, which makes no sense since the Fire Nation is out to get him and putting up a sign say he was there is ridiculously idoitic.

The next stop is at some place in the woods in the Northern Earth Kingdom. Aang practices wterbending at night and proves that in the day, he is too distracted since Katara narrated he struggled with Waterbending which is complete and utter bull when you recall how he picked it up in the show like breathing air would come to him. This is suggested that because he never practiced any of the other elements, he isn't any good at them. What, had they made Book 2 would it have taken the whole movie before he could even Earthbend a pebble?

Anyway, he decides to go to the Northern Air Temple to see if he can commune with the Dragon Spirit because he thinks someplace spiritual can help him do so; seems logical. The place is industrialized like the show, but it is done so by the Fire Nation. The Mechanist and his son and the other colonists are not mentioned. The chamber with all the statues of previous Avatars is apparently open to everyone to visit, even none Airbenders. Aang is captured by Zhou which appeared earlier in the movie taunting Zuko in front of an audience of his troops. Zuko shows up and is the Blue Spirit. They escape and Zuko is shot with an arrow, cracking the mask (Which we need if it is to be used in Book 2, way to mess that up!) and Aang leaves Zuko in the woods.

Zhou casually walks up to the Fire Lord and then solutes, which he is never even see in the presence of the Fire Lord except for flashbacks in the show and even then, he only ever communicates by carrier hawk. Anyway, the Fire Lord is told that Zhou assumes highly that Zuko is the Blue Spirit and the Fire Lord shows a sign of compassion for his son, which he never has for Zuko in the show. Zuko's story of getting burned and banished by his father was told earlier in the movie, he does not like his son, it's not even mentioned that he offered Zuko a chance to return if he had the Avatar.

Zhou sabotages Zuko's ship by blowing up Zuko's quarters, but Zuko doesn't even have a scratch later in the movie but in the show, he's jacked up. Iroh is suddenly with Zhou for no reason other than plot and previous canon demanding it and Zuko is just hiding on the ship, but not as a guard, just hiding.

The gang gets to the North Pole and Aang AND Katara begin training with Pakku. What?! Where's the "Waterbending is for boys, healing is for girls thing"? Must have been running low on screen time left because God forbid we keep people in their seats longer than an hour and forty minutes. Anyway, Yue and Sokka are hanging out together and that's fine, she doesn't need to be betrothed anyway, that was even ridiculous in the show since she was going to die anyway, at least she had white hair, or at least extremely platinum platinum blonde hair. Anyway, Zhou begins his attack with what is said to be weeks after the good guys are at the Northern Water Tribe, which is fine, but still, the Fire Nation has been on their tail the whole time and now it's weeks for them to arrive. Sure it takes time to gather ships, but I guess since there is no distinguishable time period in the show, that's cool.

The Spirit Oasis is where they go and then for some reason Yue and Sokka leave to do something. Zuko attacks but Aang is in meditation so Katara fights. Aang gets captured and is taken to... a building in the city. Seriously? Whatever. Zhou shows up, kills the moon spirit, Iroh gets mad and creates fire. This frightens everyone because apparently in the movie, firebenders are not allowed to create fire without there already being some, and then that can only be used only within the same capacity as was already there. Makes no sense.

Katara finds Aang after Yue sacrifices herself and they leave to fight in the battle. Zuko finds Zhou but Iroh stops a fight from happening, Zhou sees that the Moon Spirit is back and is suffocated by Waterbenders trapping him in water for too long. I wish that was in the show, but it wasn't.

Aang decides to finally listen to the Dragon and use the ocean and goes into the Avatar State but doesn't turn into a monster, just makes a wall and threatens to let it fall in the form of a tsunami on the firenation and the ships turn back. How anticlimactic. He didn't do a thing.

The entire Water Tribe and the Firebenders stop (Wait, the Firebenders? That's pretty l@m3) and bow to him and he bows back, but looking like he's going to throw up. Yeah, he overacted that emotion.

Cut to the Fire Lord who tells Azula that she has to find Iroh and Zuko, who fled from the Water Tribe, and capture them. They need to prepare for the arrival of Sozin's Comet is coming in 3 years. Yeah, that's right, THREE YEARS! The show took place, all three episodes over one year at the most. What is this 3 years nonsense?!

Not only that, but it takes 6 guys to do 6 moves to move one small boulder to their enemy for 1 guy to punch it at them, every bending technique took way too many moves to do the things that happened, the characters were all improperly cast, and the story was jumbled. The show depicts single move doing extreme things while bending. Firebending does not require already existing fire for one to Firebend. If things were done properly, Fire Nation would be Japanese in ethnicity, not some Egyptian/Jew hybrid, Air Nomads would be Chinese and some being Indian looking, but not Gyatso, heíd be Chinese. Water Tribes would be Native American looking, not white. Even makeup would have looked better. The Earth Kingdom would be the most diverse because of its size. Asians, White, Black, Indian, all sorts would be fine. The one thing that was right is that each village had its own ethnicity.

Story: There is no mention of Roku except for when Aang is at the Northern Air Temple. No Roku, or his temple, and nothing of Sozinís Comet until the end. No mention of Bumi or Omashu which is messed up since he is important in other stories. There was no mention of Jet or the Freedom Fighters so that would have been weird had they made Book 2 and he not be there. No Bato or Hakoda of the Water tribe were mentioned except that Sokka and Kataraís mother was killed (actually taken away according to the movie) and that their father went to fight. Nothing to do with June or her Shirshu. Nothing about the colonists of the Air Temple. Nothing of Jeong Jeong. All of these people played some turning points in the story then or even later in the other books.

Another thing was pronunciation of names. Aang = Awng; Sokka = Sohka; Iroh = Earoh. Another thing was also how the characters were designed. I have no doubt that the guy who played Iroh did a pretty good job. Heís at piece unless really angered and he shows honor, but he has a full stubble of a beard and Jewish dreads as well as being incredibly thin. Could play the character but does not have the build. Zuko has as much hair as he did halfway through Book 2. What? And he also had barely a scar. While Iím okay with the tattoos on Aang, they are not light blue. Katara does not have her hair loops. Zhou barely had sideburns let alone looking at all different than the rest of his troops. The Fire Lord does not have long hair. There are multiple complaints about the way characters look that if you put them side by side to their animated counterparts, you wouldnít see a correlation between them.

Overall, I think that this was a movie that would get people the chance to see what they had missed out on than please the fans. If you think about it, this is a messed up summary that just gives you an idea of what the first book was like. I canít blame them for making things the way they were because there is such a thing as having a movie go on for too long. *COUGHhobbitCOUGHCOUGH* If I were to have done this, or if they still were, for the sake of storytelling than for trying to get money, split the books into two parts each. Here is how I would do it.

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Book One: Volume 1: Visions of the Comet.
Chapters 1-8 Ending with a vision of Sozinís Comet and the gang leaving the Fire Nation.
Book One: Volume 2: Siege on the North
Chapters 9-20 Beginning with being chased by pirates and someone saying, ďWhy did you have to take that Waterbending Scroll?!Ē and ending the way the same way Book One ended.
Book Two: Volume One: Journey to Ba Sing Se
Chapters 1-12 and bits of 16 Ending with seeing the Drill.
Book Two Volume Two: Adventures in Ba Sing Se
Chapters 13-20 Beginning with an exciting attack on the drill and ending the way Book Two did.
Book Three: Volume One: Black Sun
Chapters 1-11 Ending with the way Chapter 10 did
Book Three: Volume Two: Sozinís Comet
Chapter 12-21 The first third would be Chapters 12-17 and then the last 2/3 would be Chapters 18-21
Avatar: The Legend of KorraÖ

Bits and pieces would be omitted like the Fortune Teller or tales of Ba Sing Se, and the Ember Island Players, basically anything that would have not contained characters that were important for future events. It would take a long time, but I would do it Peter Jackson Style by shooting everything all at once and then releasing stuff year after year, or in this case, every winter and summer. Probably the best way though is to not make live action movies at all because these are things people really take seriously. Itís not like Star Wars where there are so many things you can do because of mega gaps in time and because that originally started off with movies, Avatar was a television series with so many things that happened in each episode that there is nothing you can do but make about 6 movies just to get the whole story correct, not to mention an expansion with Korra and her adventures.

Point is, if you want to watch it, go to the library and find it. Itís not a total waste, but if you are a fan, you have to see how much they messed things up. In all reality, it wasnít as bad as everyone said, but there are major gaps and things that needed to be in place if they were going to make two other movies. Most critics wouldnít have seen the show and therefore base all their knowledge on what they say. This means it really isnít all that great. But still see it sometime because itís not a total waste of an hour and forty minutes. If it was longer, and it was still bad, then it would be a total waste.

I liked the movie, but then again, I only saw half of an episode the year before. (It was cool I guess) It was the one where the guy goes in to save a girl or something, and me makes a HUGE fish face saying: GUESS WHO??? Then she like kicked the snot out of him to realize it was the guy she liked or something. Oh and some convicts tried to cross the river but they got caught because they accidentally touched the water and they all freaked out. You can probably see by my description why (To me) the movie made more sense. :P

I know which one you're talking about. It's called the Boiling Lake: Part 1. Sokka and Zuko find their way to a Volcano filled with water, but it is boiling hot. There is a prison for the worst criminals and the leaders of enemies during war times. Sokka wants to save his father, but find his girlfriend Suki (kinda, they never really had the time to go out during the show until after this episode) and when they try to escape buy using a freezing chamber used for punishment for reckless behavior at the prison, a guy accidently has some water pop on his hand and he lets out a giant yell which gives away their position. Sokka, Zuko and Suki did not use it because Sokka still wanted to stay to be sure his father was not going to come to the prison.

Nyeh. Lego will get there. Did you see the new shoulder armour for the orcs in the Next wave of Hobbit sets? Epicness! Anyhow, the farthist I'll go from purist is MAYBE a very well applied decal. (Not the paper that you glue to the figure, the actual printing you can get on special paper)

You've summed up my thoughts exactly. I'd use decals occasionally if I needed them and had the time and resources to make them. But 3rd party accessories don't add much to a creation. Plus they don't have the Lego look to them, they seem too detailed.

For me. Everyone has different parts they need, and the parts I need are things like foliage pieces, snot brackets, olive green, masonry bricks, sand green, dark grey cheese slopes... I didn't see any sets in that list with a decent supply of pieces like those that I need, only sets with a bunch of dark grey and tan basic bricks.

Superman is such an overpowered superhero (According to the comic books.) It says he can fly the speed of light, or even faster. But there is on universal law of physics that he can't break. Nothing with mass can go the speed of light, so he can only go 99% the speed of light. So what if he were to punch you? Well, if his fist had the average of 300 grams, and it's moving at 99% of the speed of light, it would have a total energy of about 190,000,000,000,000,000 Joules. Which is equivalent to 45 megatons of TNT. Throwing just one punch near the speed of light with that much energy, would burn around 45,000,000,000,000 calories, which is equivalent to ALMOST 82,000,000,000 big Macs. Now you have one of the largest bombs condensed in a fist, aimed at your face. What happens when he releases that punch? First, it would be VERY HOT, because to energy released by supermans fist would be around 143,999,999,999,540.3 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 5,000,000 times hotter than the core of our sun. It takes 1 centisecond for the light that hits your retina to then be processed by the brain. So since the punch is traveling at near the speed of light, It would only take 3.4 nanoseconds to get to you, so you literally wouldn't see it coming. .. But what we can see from the fists perspective, since it's going almost the speed of sound, is that time is practically frozen. All of the particles in the air, the oxygen, the nitrogen are suspended in time. Supermans hand is hitting them with so much energy, that it creates nuclear fusion. Gamma rays explode, and creates an explosion that the earth has never seen. A blast wave goes out shattering structures, and rips trees out of the ground. Superman wouldn't just knock the wind out of you, he would knock the atoms out of you. His fist has pretty much become a particle beam. So yeah, you're dead.

Superman

Not to mention all the other things he can do. The creators must have been like, "We'll make him an alien so this stuff seems plausible!" NO! All of the other aliens do not do such things to that extent. What's worse is that with each generation of Superman, he gets stronger and stronger. At one point, he couldn't even fly, just leap over buildings in a single bound. Now he defies gravity? What gives? Granted, that does make him cooler, but still.

Yeah, that particular part was about a witch that the townspeople wanted to burn. They said if she said if her weight is equal to a duck then she floats, which means she is made of wood, which means they must burn her! And no I have not seen the whole movie, however I am going to watch it tomorrow.

I think Lego left their brain somewhere in the garbage. I kinda like the idea of a mech, but as we've been getting those by the dozen lately it would seem, I really wanted a Zelda set or the Space Rangers theme. I don't think they should even consider the truck, not much potential for a good set in a jeep. It is what it is, I guess. Maybe they'll pick a good thing to make a set I'll actually buy one day. *Cough*Poptropica*Cough*

I'll post mine in the next comment.

Hmm, I personally would have loved the Space Troopers theme. I also think the mini shop series would've done quite well.

Portals:
They must have had licensing trouble with this or something. It's built like a set, †a popular theme, and appealing design. I'm disappointed to see this go, but I can see why.

Purdue Pete:
Remind me again...how did this get 10000 votes? Well, it's way too limited of an audience.

Space troopers:
As they've said before, Cuusoo is for individual sets, not a line of products. It will be interesting to see if the Lego Birds project is rejected for similar reasons... :/

Andy the Android:
Limited playability, unappealing design, it's basically just an ad.

Legends of Zelda:†
Well, the first one got rejected, so it's pretty obvious that the second did too.

Land Rover Defender:
While I like the model, it wouldn't be able to become a set unless it's made much smaller, in which case a lot of the original supporters wouldn't like it. Other than that, it's a technic model, which unfortunately probably wouldn't be as popular as system sets, the original requires a lot of tinkering to get it to work fairly well, and it's licensed, which could cause problems.

Mini Shop Series:†
Probably the most disappointing rejection to a lot of people, including me. But there's the fact that it introduces licenses when similar sets can (and have) been done in the city theme without licenses. (See 10184). Aside from that, it's either a line of products (not going to be done by Cuusoo) or just 1-2 shops, which wouldn't be a very interesting set to a lot of people, what with the simple build.

Tumbler:
Made so many times in the past and currently...why did this person even try?

LoL:
Another licensed product, rejection reasons probably similar to LoZ.

Exo Suit:
Yes. Just yes. Fantastic build which can hopefully be not changed too much, nice concept which hasn't been done often in a generic sci-fi world (come to think of it, a whole sci-fi world, not just ships, without licensing hasn't been done in a while...). I have little doubt that I will get it.†

We've never really had a mech in a generic sci-fi theme that's not "this exact squad of ships is fighting these aliens". I like the overall styling of the mech, it's very different from most mechs I've seen, it will be interesting to see the final product. Zelda and Space Rangers are no's because they were asking for a whole line of products, not just one set. Plus licensing issues (yes, even with space rangers, see more on brickset).

While I agree that the LRD isn't good as a set, you have to remember that it's technic and has tons of functions.

I agree on all accounts. Do the original creators of the set get any money, or anything, for coming up with the idea?

I guess that's not to bad. At least they get something, and having their set produced is pretty cool too.

How many sets are produced in total for the Cuusoo sets? 20,000 perhaps?

Everyone's fear is that the final product just won't be anywhere close to the original design, and I can't blame them. The thing is littered with illegal techniques or ones that are extremely difficult to achieve for an inexperienced builder. If it looks pretty good, and I have the money, I wouldn't mind supporting Pete because he is the first original idea without it being some already exsisting thing in the world or being liscensed.

There are at least 3 sets that could be made from the next review. Ghostbusters, Wizard of Oz and Poptropica have the best chances. Ghostbusters if a few agreements are made, which I wouldn't think would be too difficult since a fanbase has said that they don't care if a movie is 30+ years old in order to get a LEGO set, WB owns The Wizard of Oz and WB is helping produce The LEGO Movie, and owns Cartoon Network where 2 shows and plenty of LEGO specials are aired, should be really easy. Poptropica is being pitched by the company who makes the game like Minecraft. If kids know what it is, then it could be also really easy to be done. Female Figures has the potential of multiset value depending on sales. People say it will conflict with Friends. Bull. They are completely different. You aren't going to be playing in LEGO City with a bunch of yellow dudes and then every girl look the same and be 8 feet tall in LEGO perspective. We will finally see if there really is a one set per season if at all thing or if they have to push stuff into later seasons just to say they are going to release them. Previous answers will now gain validity.
