You are in! You can start building if you want, but make sure not to post anything until the 15th. The deadline will be 2 weeks(depending on how many entries we have) after that.

Houston, we have a problem :D I watched Apollo 13 yesterday - you could base your entry around that!

That's fine, you can sign up and may not post them. In the next round, you'll be expected to post an entry because it will be MOC-off style. So sign up (if you want to :D) and I won't be sad if you don't post an entry but I'll be grateful if you do.

Your entry must be made on a 8 stud by 8 stud base. Try not to build overhang onto your entry but it's OK if it spills over a tad. Minifigs and foilige are allowed to overhang. There is no height limit or brick limit. Brickforge/brickforge are allowed and so are decals, but please nothing sharpied :D
Build a scene which is either your favourite or you think represents the film well (for example, you could build the scene from Star Wars where Vader tells Luke that he's his father).

umm i already did that and when i DID it i wanted it to be as acurate as posible so i cant do it in 8 by 8. what if it has an 8 by 8 overhang on 2 sides BUT the whole scene takes up the space used. and it is on an 8 by 8 base. just overhanging. it is 24 studs wide. LOL. it is the trash compactor scene of episode 4. but if it can not have an overhang, i will just make it a smaller design. what do u think? 8 by 8 base but 8 stud overhang on 2 sides? cant do it?? i understand if so

I'd love to say yes but I made the 8x8 rule to challenge the contestants. The fun part is to squash a large scene into a small space! Or, you could build the scene sideways, going up rather than out. There's no rules saying that your scene can't be sideways :D

yea.. um no. i am NOT building the scene sideways. then i would have to secure ALL the trash, rebuild the whole wall design. and figure out why i am still in this contest anyway. but i was smart and planed ahead, if my origional entry wouldnt be allowed, i started to build the degobah training scene on an 8 by 8 base. hope i can build a tree. bye

Meh, I don't think I'm going to build from my FAVOURITE movie as I can't decide no matter how hard I try. I'll just be building something original and good movie related, that's still OK, I presume?
