Sadly, all previous theories are wrong. I don't exactly like Danny, so I banned him and then banned Ultra because I figured Ultra would blame Danny who would proceed to blame Ultra.

I really don't see what all the excitement about this is.

Just because it has a similar star and is within a "Habitable Zone" doesn't make it Earth-like. We really don't know anything about this planet. Its most likely just a Gas Giant, but its an ocean-world in the best-case scenario. It could be made of liquid methane instead of water, for all we know.

The idea of a Sci-Fi MMO interests me, but I haven't been able to shake my skepticism for all things non-movie related when it comes to the Star-Wars theme. I think LucasArts is just over-stretching what should have been just a saga of movies, at this point.

Ah, progress. I am almost finished setting up my Lego workshop. One last storage tower, and then the daunting task of sorting my last three bins of Lego. Unfortunatly, they are likley half of my entire collection, white, grey/bley(need to separate, ugh) and the largest all, black. At the same time it reminded me of a long dormant project I had been working on, and in about an hour or two, I made all the possible progress with available parts I could, and placed orders for more. I WILL finish this thing.

Quoting The Thoughts of the very Backward Matt I was thinking; if friction limits how fast cars can travel, then why not light, too?
In fact, light is highly reactive compared to other particles I've heard about. It bends, refracts, reflects, and warps based on the medium its traveling through. Would it be rational to say that a ghost-like particle, like neutrinos, could travel *faster* than light when given enough energy? Whos to say we don't have FTL particles moving through us right now?
Given that, its actually pretty reasonable (In my mind, anyways) how a faster than light particle would exist without being detected by now. Perhaps thats whats happening with the reported neutrinos w've heard about recently.
And this is the thought that came to my mind as I was reading an article about an incident that I'm sure a couple of you have heard about. It frustrates me when full-of-themselves scientists try and debunk it completely with some crazy, over complicated, and down-right silly "theories" of physics. Perhaps this is the same treatment that the Catholic Church gave various scientists that we've all read about in history. I sure think so. I'm glad this "impossible" neutrino thing is happening; the scientific community needs to stop waving their useless degrees and humble themselves. In other words, faster Than Light neutrinos are happening. Stop throwing tantrums, you silly little 'scientists,' and start thinking like a little.

Thank you for listening to my rant that, other than you guys, will most likely go unnoticed.

Not sure what fielding means, but I'm open to some hard work on a creation. Downside is that I barely have ant light grey, and my patience doesn't allow long periods of work (hence: really crappy creations)

Well, I wasn't so much saying new, but rather finishing the current one, at least Act 1(of 3)

Also the Mocatholan is over.

I know, I was saying next time it would be a good idea to have a 23CU team...

General question: Is this universe constant? From what I understand, this universe was started at year 2239. So, if this whole theme began 5 years ago, are we then in year 2244?
General question two: When (In real-life time) was this theme actually officially started/initiated by John Moffatt and Ian MacDonald?

No. I think it's general consensus we're sometime in the 2280s or 2290s, because every planet that is taken, you need to fight a veritable WWII on, which takes time. And it's general consensus Earth isn't doing that great, so they had to have lost some planets by now.

I treat it like a fictional timeline. Like looking back on world war two, you can see any point in it. We just come up with new things to go fill in the gaps.

Also, Ian started the idea of the COP..... 5-ish years ago. UNE came a little after that.

So somehow Brian Carter and Spencer Pearce found their way into this group, despite both being declared banned from the 23rd Century Universe theme, so this has been remedied.

If anyone wishes to argue the case for these two outlaws, do so here, and I and probably the other admins will give a fair verdict, but for now, bail is denied.

I would like this verdict to be overturned. I totally think you should give Brian sole control over the COP. We'd sweep you guys in two CRs and he'd break up the COP into a bunch of small PMC raiding parties scattered all over the universe; perfect allies with the UNE against the NEOS...

I totally see this as a perfect win-win situation.

As a side note to my original statement, I wasn't the one to decide to ban Brian or Spencer from the theme in the first place, all I'm doing is upholding that decision (which incidentally I am in mucho support of >.>)

Put Nick in charge of the UNE too, no orders will ever be sent, and Brian slowly chips away at Earth with his scattered PMCs.

Right! That's why he disliked me so much in C&C!

Anyways, Pearce is appealing to rejoin anyway. In his own words regarding his behavior: "...no situation warrants such actions or accusations..."
He says he does not wish for a clean slate, but to be given a chance to atone for his prior actions. Pearce believes that he and his circumstances have changed over the years, and that he is ready to join our community as a more mature and reasonable member.

Should we give him another chance? The choice is yours, comrades.

Well, it all comes down to point of view. I don't know how you could build a ship a mere 39 galaxies long. I'd make it like a billion. When I look at the sky a galaxy and a star are both as big as a pin head, and ships are really big, pinheads arent. So therefore, I need like a 12 billion galaxy long ship right? To make a medium sized ship.

Right?
Well actually that'd be ridiculous yet, as that ship would be rough 600km, given a pinhead is ~2mm. Anyway, overtired rambling over. Imagosleepnowk?

Models are easy. Textures. Textures can be a pain. I've created 3D models using Milkshape 3D, it was pretty straight forward. But I can't stand doing textures.
