Alright, before we begin, let me clarify something. This is a challenge, not a contest. That means there is no end date, no winner, no losers, just a set of obscure rules meant to inspire activity in this once-prosperous theme. I will be issuing these on a bi-weekly basis, provided I don't get mod-hammered for it.
So, this week's challenge: Photo-Negative.
You are tasked with building a creation for your chosen side (COP or UNE), in that style, like you normally would. But the twist is, you must invert the colors.
What does that mean? Well, I'll give an example. The UNE mostly builds with a base of light grey, with a red stripe, black details, and transparent yellow. For this challenge, the creation would be built with a base of dark grey, with a green stripe, white details, and transparent purple. The Coalition, building with almost exclusively light grey and transparent red, would build with dark grey and transparent green.
Now for the fun part: If you have access to digital editing software, once you take a picture of your inverted creation, use your program to digitally invert the picture. Presto! If done correctly, you will end up with your standard color scheme, but with that certain style given by a digital invert.
There you go. Good luck if you decide to accept! Permalink

Also @Awe, does the COP have any form of soldiers who use jetpacks in combat, or is it deemed unrealistic?
It shouldn't be unrealistic, considering how jetpacks are already under experimentation in the modern world. The major problem is that fuel doesn't last very long, but I'm sure the COP has figured something out. Permalink
