Helpful resources to Gun Builders

Hey guys, I know you may have the same problem I have had when it comes to finding reliable and true online resources to build guns off of. I just visited this site: http://world.guns.ru/main-e.htm and its really awesome. It has guns from around the world and all sorts of them, like sub machine guns, and others. If you are stuck on what to build, take a look on that site. :)

Hé, marder, i always use that site to use the lengths of the guns, and barrels! So i can make real-scale weapons!

I expand my searches. I use the following sites:
http://world.guns.ru
http://www.wikipedia.org
http://www.sturmgewehr.com/bhinton/
http://www.civiliangunner.com/
http://www.m-aparts.com/

Search sites are my favorite tools.

To get the images of the guns to the full scale size:

1. Find the dimensions for the gun.
2. Use a photo editor to enlarge the image (specify 'keep aspect ratio' or 'keep proportions' or something like that). It will be blurry.
3. Find a way to print it out at 1:1 scale on multiple sheets of paper at OK quality (any higher uses too much ink since it's already blurred). Each photo editor and printer combination settings are different. I use Microsoft PhotoDraw V2 (discontinued in 2000) and an HP PSC 1200 Series all-in-one printer (costs about $70-90).
Good Luck!

I want to share with everyone the best resource for learning the internal function of the M1911. I used this to build my M1911's barrel drop mechanism.
