Okay here's how it works.

Okay new how it works.

Everyone is given the same element and the same species. everyone will be paired up and the winner of the pair will move on to the next round. There will be a one week limit for each round so you have to have you entry up for the first round on sunday the 10th.

Limits for entrys
Only one entry per person per round.

No taller than twenty inches.

Must have the actually colour of the element in some way

Judging

I will appoint two other judges to judge with me.

The judging will be out of twenty and the moc with the highest total score out of the pair will win the other will be eliminated.

Have Fun!! Please feel free to post any questions below. No conversation! There is a topic for that.

Approximately Monday, April fourth. I know it's a ways away but I need time to get organized and for people to join. On that day the teams will get their opponents and elements. Sound good?

Nevermined, I found the lyrics, it goes...

Early morning, April 4
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky
Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride

In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love
In the name of love
What more in the name of love...

Now i'm just going off topic :P anyway, this contest will be one of the best ever :)

April 4th was the day Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee, which is what the song actually refers to. History Lesson Complete!

I'll invite you to your team when i decide what team your in.
The colour of the element is determined by the actual colour of the element like Sulphur's colour would be yellow.

So, guess I'm in too. The teams where we're on will be chosen by you? Or there'll be some kind of topic for us to organize ourselves?

So let me get this straight; the teams will dissolve? As in, if one person on the team loses in their pairing, they are eliminated? So is only one person supposed to win? If that's the case, it should just be a free for all instead of a team thing. Especially since there's a possibility of multiple people on the same team making it to the finals. If we are going to keep teams, then it should be a points-based deal instead of elimination.

yay! I can not wait! but something has been nagging on me: most of the elements will be brown gray or black very few will be like red or blue or green but I do not know what I am saying since I have only gazed apon a periodic table of the elements only a few times.

I know it's a bit weird and different but I have set it up this way because each round a team is given a new element to build with on the same theme as everyone else so for example: Team X's element is Lithium titan team y's element is bromine titan. understand?

Thanks for inviting me Chris. I'm a little lost on a point on this. Are we to make a creation that represents the element in the best way we can?

You are making a creation that has the given element as it's element like Tahu's is Fire so he's red. So if the element was sulphur the toa would be yellow. Understand?

One more question: how do people get eliminated now? Are there match-ups now or a point system in which the lower half get cut?

If you make a new version of your Self-MOC that is the correct species and the correct element, then I'm sure that is fine. Just don't add an old MOC, or one that is the wrong element/species. For example, we are doing a Turaga of Silver for the first round, and a Toa of Tungsten would not fit the bill at all.

I'm alright now! I stayed up practically all night for the solution! I now have a turaga of silver! I can't find a name though...
