Now that I'm all done judging (although any last-minute entries are still accepted), the CYOA is going to start! For those of you who didn't make the cut, you can join the planning group, which will be up soon.

For those of you who did make it, it's time to start the CYOA. There are four characters, who you get to customize yourselves. Give me a name to use (could be your screen name, or a nickname, etc.) for your character, and a minifigure design to use. I have a pretty wide range of minifig parts, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem (although I don't have a spidey shirt, callan :p)

Your character can come from one of the four backgrounds described below. Only one person from each background though, so once a spot is taken, nobody else can get that spot. The trainer background determines what type of Pokemon you get.

Pallet Town Trainer:
An aspiring young lad from Pallet, you get your first Pokemon from Professor Oak and go off into the world, searching for a chance at greatness.

Available Pokemon: One of the three starters or Pikachu (Whoever gets this one should keep in mind that I only have a Bulbasaur built, and it would be a great help to me if you picked Bulbasaur).

Vermillion City Trainer:
You got your first Pokemon from a relative in the Pokemon Fan Club, and you went through Diglett's cave in search of worthy opponents.

Pokemon Type: Electric or Ground

Pewter City Trainer:
Catching your first Pokemon in the foothills of Mt. Moon, you learned you were lightyears away from beating Brock. So, you decided to head south to train.

Pokemon Type: Rock or Ground

Cinnibar Island Trainer:
Surf's up, dude! You and your Pokemon traverse the seas to battle the gym leaders on the mainland.

Pokemon Type: Water

The first person to pick will be Deus, as he got the most points in the contest. Second will be Stormbringer, then Callan, then Leon.

Keep in mind that I don't have every Kanto Pokemon made, so I may ask you to pick again if I find the build too hard. Or, you could pick one that I already have built. That would help out greatly. Basic Pokemon only, and only Pokemon that can evolve can be picked.

Start us off, Deus!

No, but if I can come up with a good abra/kadabra/alakazam design, you might get one later in the CYOA. No way am I going to try to make a haunter though.

What do you want your trainer fig to look like? I'm not going to have any fleshies, so your sig-fig's head isn't going to work. I think I've found a suitable substitute though. Does this head work? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?M=sw103

Show me a set of heads. I'll jsut choose a good one from there.

Why not flesh? It means I'm undead. And have fur hidden under my skin, wich I can poup up at any given time, as can I do with wolf teeth and a nose. Yes, my SigFig can have a nose. What was I talking about?

I have a pretty wide variety of heads, help me out here so I don't have to go digging out all of them.

Do you want:

Male or female?

Glasses or no glasses?

Serious, goofy, angry, crazy, or happy expression?

Beard or no beard?

You know, the works. Also, if you could come up with some clothing, hair, and other gear for him, that would be good too.

This goes for everyone, I may or may not have your sig-fig's head, but I have quite a few alternatives. Give me a general description of what you want your guy to look like and I'll do my best to match it. Posting an actual fig like Callan and Stormbringer did is helpful too.

@Callan: I don't have a spidey shirt, and I only have white backpacks unless you want a giant one. I have your head and a red hat though.

@Stormbringer: I have your head and torso, but not the hat. I can do red, white, blue, and I think I have a slightly bent green one.

Oh, and I can make a compromise, Deus. Since I'm not doing fleshies (not to mention I don't even have your head), I'll allow you to have your spiky shoulders from your D&D-ish CYOA. I've got a top hat as well.

Sorry for not getting back here quickly. Any male adventurer shirt works, or even a casual one. A jacket torso would be preferred, but if you don't have one, please go casual or adventure. Your white backpacks will work great! And just for fun, the reason my sig wears a Spidey tee is because I LOVED Spider-Man when I was really little, and I still do today! :D

Yay, some free time. Sorry I'm late. Since the character options are up, I'll get started.

My fig will be a male trainer from Pewter City (I'm not sure what my starter pokemon will be yet).

Here's a little backstory, if that is ok with you Cody.

My character is a serious individual. After my grueling defeat with the Pewter's gym leader I went (as you said) south, determined to becoming a stronger trainer.

A Kabuto sounds great! For my character's backstory you could say that I found him deep within Mount Moon. Hopefully by training Kabuto (a water/rock type) I'll defeat the gym leader.

I don't think my character need a hat, just give him black hair.

Also are we allowed to give our characters nicknames?

You have the choice of the Pallet Trainer or the Cinnibar Trainer, but Callan has priority because he scored more points. So just go ahead and give a description of what your trainer looks like, and a preferred Pokemon if you want to. It either has to be a starter, Pikachu, or a water-type.

Well, I guess that leaves me with the Cinnabar Island Trainer. (That was the one I wanted anyways). Well, I couldn't care less what my minifigure looks like. but as for Pokemon, I would really really like to have a Lapras. But, if it has to able to evolve, then I'd like to have an Omanyte.
