"Sigh" Just look at this place. So empty and cold...

Would anyone be interested in trying to get this place up and running again? I've got a few ideas to improve the system we abandonned, but I'll need dedicated support from a few people first. Here's a list of ideas:

1. We'll start out with smaller maps and smaller battlegroups. This won't be a permanent change, just to reasure those who would enjoy 15x15 maps and 100CR battlegroups. I was thinking 8x8 and possibly 40CR battlegroups, with a restriction of a certain amount of units.

2. We can experiment with asymetrical maps. Chunk shared some of his ideas about the large-scale strategic aspect of this system, and asymetrical maps are the first step towards this.

3. A renovated abilities system and stats system. As Richie so famously put it, the current system can get confusing and needs some simplifying. I've got a few ideas about how to simplify things a bit, though I'll be doing a bit of review over the values and such that chunk set down when he was actively participating in this group.

If you like any of these ideas, please consider joining or participating once again.

(Chunk, if you're reading this, I hope you're okay with me resurrecting this project again, and with me heading it up. I've got some old LDD files that you sent me before your hard-drive went kaput, in case you wanted to get some of your unreleased units back.)

I don't mean to be rude, but . . . I was kinda glad it had slipped into the anals of time. In many ways, it was too much work; plus the fact that I HATE having to build miniscale (note that that only really cameup after taking part in the testing of this XD).

Well, if you don't feel like making mini-units yourself, I'm planning on presenting a small selection of default unit models for general use. All you'll need to do is customize with your desired colors, and viola. I really want to focus more on the actual combat itself. Plus, staging smaller battles between smaller units on smaller maps should be a good start for some of the larger battles that will come later.

Also, to anyone who isn't yet a part of this group, feel free to join. I'll be posting an explanation MOC sometime in the future, providing enough people are interested, explaining certain aspects of the TCS.

Awesome, welcome aboard. I probably won't be fully focused on this for a while, as I too am working on a Minecraft project, but once I either get bored of it or finish it, I'll be actively working on sorting this revamp out.

Hi guys I have not been on in a while. I want to let you know about the Regulus naval ship. It has a profile and battle card. I don't know what your opinions are of naval battles, but they would work better since you would not have to use nearly as much pieces for the terrain. Please check it out and comment on it to let me know.

Is there a rule about the maximum stat-points a certain unit type can have? As long as it fits the stat-point and CR limits of the type?
Say, a Heavy unit wants more than 10 points in Atack?

Yes, units can apply however many points to whichever stats they want, save for Superheavy units who's movement stat must be the lowest value.

I'm dumb, explain "the lowest value" because I see SH units with more than 4 studs of movement. :c

It means that all other stats should be higher than speed. And I know that my SH violates thsi rule, and as such I can't use it.

Well, Its time to acknowledge that its time to give up. This game is dead, and I have more productive ways to waste my time.

The time has come to give up on this doomed endeavour.

Well THAT was about the rudest possible way to say "this place is dead". Though I pretty much agree.

I do hope you haven't actually been checking this place regularly, as your message seems to implicate...?

You may have left this game to die, but why didn't you try to find someone else who will care for it?
