I was purchasing the 2004 bionicle book thingy with the case and it said it came with the poisoned tahu nuva mask. I went digging through the packaging and found the Lhikan mask. I used it to build turaga lhikan. Weird.

I have a really hard time finding use for the nuva parts as well as the 2004 matoran parts. The infected hau would have been pretty cool too. The lhikan mask just looked better and was easier to use.

About the closest I have ever came to getting anything cheap was when I found 3 pieces of an arm from what I think was a Toa Mata on the playground at my old elementary school. Wish I could have found the whole figure.

Also, my Mum & Grandad found a Minifig on the ground of a carpark. It did have a few nicks on it, but it was an awesome fig.

In fact, I used the torso from it on my LegoBob's Army Siggy.

One thing that sticks out in my mind is the one time when I was just randomly digging through my pieces, and I found a mata red minifig flat-cap. I had no Idea where it came from, but it sure looks good on my Mario minifig! :)

LOL! Where'd you get the pieces from?

Yeah I was surprised to find them, but happy! Usually there are more toys at garage sales that are in newer neighborhoods where more young kids live.

You know a similar thing happened to me once. On the last day of the year, we (my class and I) were cleaning up the classroom. My teacher found Furno 1.0's leg. How unlucky.
