I got the idea to start this group from a conversation with Phipson...I know, that doesn't bode well, but hear me out. I mentioned to him that I was thinking of storing pics of builders SigFigs in a file for future reference (since we're frequently using others SigFigs in our MOC's). Then the obvious FINALLY became clear to me (yes, I'm a little s...l...o...w), just form a group.

So for anyone with a Signature Minifig, throw a pic or two of it into the creations section of the group with your name, and we'll have a way to see what parts were used, and to properly represent you on MOCpages.

I'll try to start with an example of mine later today (need to actually get some good pics of mine). If you've got pics ready to go, then by all means, throw 'em into the file for future abuse and smack-MOCing.

Oh, and I formed this on a whim. So I'll try to deal with any potential hiccups as they come along, but it's pretty simple so I don't think there should be too many problems (famous last words).

Just a question... Is there at all a preference to what type of format is presented in any posts of SigFiggys? Ex: The black backround and descriptions for the new SigKelso. If it doesn't make a difference or just the opposite occurs, then could you please let me know? Thanks.

I'll have a real decent sig-fig up soon.
I don't like my "now" one.

No format. Just Post your fig in any fashion that allows us to know the full parts list. (i.e. show full body). If custom decals are involved, then a pic with a good representation of the decals would be helpful, too. Thanks!

Ya know, that fig and it's decal came from a Bricklink store, and I don't have that figure anymore. (he decided to travel abroad, and hasn't come home yet. I think he's currently at Dave Shaddix's house) Unfortunately I never made a copy of that decal.

So, these things are intended to be used to insert other moc-ers into one's mocs?

As in, a figgy of Phippy boy dunked in a pit of lava whilst being poked by cackling fiends?

It's an age thing; not his age, the age of his site.

People are used to seeing good stuff from him, they expect good things and they raise a ruckus if they don't get them.

He has been about for some time, and a lot of folk probably have him in their favorites.

People also hear about his works and come to have a look and pay homage, but mostly just beg for views on their pages.

My mind is currently devoid of suitable posterior-prodding trident designs, so I'll let someone with a little more skill in SNOT landscaping handle it, as I am also devoid of the necessary parts in crimson and orange.

EDIT: 'kay, still no idea for a trident, but I think I'll have a go at it anyway. Not a SNOT dio, however, but with a thing like this the only thing that counts is the figs and their poses.

He is not using it in the sense you expect:

One meaning basically means 'MERCY! DON'T HURT ME!'

But the other, the meaning he is using, means, roughly, 'Oh, spare me this foolishness'.
You could say he does not care, and one would probably be correct.

Hokay, progress report: one (out of two) of the fiends are finished.
And armed. With a long, metal, pointy-sharp thing.
Sig-Phippy is prepared.
Red and orange parts are being accumulated.

I'd say that last insult was a low blow, but I've heard how excited you get when other men use that phrase. Anyway, I'll admit I'm surprised you're able to type out all these insults with those ginormous manboobs draping over the keyboards like they do. So what, do you tie 'em back, or are you wearing a Bro? (Sienfeld reference for those who didn't get that)

By the way, I know you like it, but I prefer Ruth's hands to do the "drubbing." So let's just keep our hands to ourselves at Brickworld, kay?

Are you kidding? What do you think I use to type so fast? My massive pectorals are so finely toned, I can dance them across the keys like Fred and Ginger… (For the younger crowd, that’s Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Just Google it…)
As far as Brickworld, idle hands are the Devil’s playground and like I told you, I never sleep, so…

Touché, Mark…well played. Of course, my not building is more a function of actually having responsibilities and something called a life, as opposed to spending every spare moment sitting at the computer, pants around my ankles, desperately trying to concoct yet ANOTHER innuendo riddled review to post on some 10 year old kid’s X-wing MOC.

Actually, everyone knows the real reason you gave up building. I believe this would be one of YOUR reviews on my page: “Okay, picture this...I grab the tub of Legos. Calmly carry them upstairs, through the kitchen, past the laundry room, and into the garage, where I proceed to DUMP the whole lot into the trash! Then snatching a box of raspberry zingers on the way through the kitchen, I slink to the couch to binge in misery with the tv and the remote, never to build again...I mean what's use, for God's sake!” (And look at that! I even corrected the misspellings…)

Sorry I broke you like that, but at least you’ve found something else to occupy yourself with…

But enough talk…time for you to bring the noise, brick style! If you can…

And now, after reading that paragraph, the word “know” has begun to look strange to you. It’s starting to lose it’s meaning. It’s becoming “k now.” Go ahead…read it again and see if I’m not right. Neither of us like to do this as we are both funloving, carefree kinda guys but, we have been getting complaints about you and how you interact with others on this site. Take care with what you say and how you say it to others. Mocpages is NOT a place for people to come in and throw insults at others. Actions like that make it not fun for people to join in. We want mocpages and this group to be for people to come, join in the group and have a good time. We are asking you to moderate yourself so that we don't have to.

Think before you type.

I've ordered from that store. As far as I remember, they send you a free minifig that has that decal with your order. Maybe you have to buy a certain amount for them to do it; I don't even know if they still do it at all. All I know is I got one but I peeled off the sticker -- it wasn't a a blank torso and I liked the pattern I could see underneath better.

Yes indeed! While we could simply duplicate the builder's SigFiggy, there's a wholesome sense of self-satisfaction to tormenting the original, a satisfaction that I've found lacking with a duplicate. Of course, mailing is time consuming and costly, and making one of your own will always do in pinch...and there ya have it, paste-eaters. That's what this club's all about!
