Finally, we’ve got (almost) all results. But first things first:

I’d like to thank Mark Stafford (aka. lego_nabii) for judging this contest. It was a great honor for me judging side by side with such a brilliant LEGO® designer and Doctor Who specialist. Thank you, Mark, I know about your very tight schedule, therefore it was really kind of you to accept this extra work.

I’d also like to thank all participants for your great entries and your patience. This was my first contest and all of you made it special for me.

Last but not least, thank you Sean for initiating this contest.

I said almost all results, that means we have one tie in category “A Scene from Doctor Who”. I already asked a tie-breaking judge, but in the meantime, we’ll post the winners here and now:

COLLECTIBLE MINIFIGS:
1st place:
Chris Stone – “Doctor Who Collectable Minifigures”
2nd place:
caecae222 – “Doctor Who Minifigs”
3rd place:
~Badger~ - “Lego Doctor Who 8 Collectible Mini-figures”

I’m sorry to say that we had to disqualify Studs-a-million and his brilliant entry “Doctor Who 1-11”. It is a little masterpiece, but was created before the contest started, which is against the rules.

Please contact Sean via flickr IM (http://www.flickr.com/people/60161610@N02/) or, if you don’t have a flickr account, me via email (Xenomurphy@gmail.com , I’ll forward your message to him) about an address where he can send the prizes. Remember, as long as you’re not 18, you might want to email him your parent’s work address. Please let us know when you received your prize.

A SCENE FROM DOCTOR WHO:
1st place and 2nd place:
Here we have the tie between BentheCreator – “Spoilers …” and AceBricks – “The Unicorn and the Wasp”. I’ll add the final result today or during the next few days.
3rd place:
Sean ./The Gray Ghost – “The Approach Begins”

Please contact me via email (Xenomurphy@gmail.com) about an address where I can send the prizes. Remember, as long as you’re not 18, you might want to email me your parent’s work address. Please let us know when you received your prize and don’t forget, I’m going to send the parcels from Germany, so allow a few more days.

EVERYDAY LIFE IN THE BLUE BOX:
1st place:
Chris Stone – “The Wardrobe”
2nd place:
LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist – “Doctor Who BLUE BOX Galley”
3rd place:
Kitzzy – “Amy and Rory’s Room in the BLUE BOX”

Please contact Sean via flickr IM (http://www.flickr.com/people/60161610@N02/) or, if you don’t have a flickr account, me via email (Xenomurphy@gmail.com , I’ll forward your message to him) about an address where he can send the prizes. Congratulations everybody. Now enjoy the Doctor Who Christmas Special.

Wow! I honestly did not think I would get first in the Collectable Minifigs category! Thanks so much Mr. Xenomurphy, Mark Stafford, and Sean for hosting this contest and letting me participate. As for the prizes, I will be out of town for the next week so when I get back I will be sure to contact you. Thanks again and merry Christmas :)

Judging is completely over with the kind help of Stu Delahay (http://mocpages.com/home.php/25687), a fantastic British builder and huge fan of Doctor Who. Here’s what he said about the tie between AceBricks and BentheCreator:

I checked out both entries and I have to give my impartial decision to BentheCreator’s take on 'Spoilers'. The presentation and lighting just edged out the very good build of the vespiform by AceBricks. I would like to commend both on good choices of episodes and scenes and tidy builds and I can see it why it was tied as they were both good quality.

The final result is:
1st place:
BentheCreator – “Spoilers …”
2nd place:
AceBricks – “The Unicorn and the Wasp”

Both amazing entries. Please everybody, don’t forget to inform me about the shipping address. I’d like to ship the three prizes all at once.

I’ve received all addresses from my part of the contest (A SCENE FROM DOCTOR WHO) and will send the prizes today.

Sean (the Gray Ghost) isn’t answering my emails, so I don’t know if Jared is going to send his prizes for his category. Since I don’t want any of the winners left out in the cold, I can offer this:
The winners of the categories COLLECTIBLE MINIFIGS and EVERYDAY LIFE IN THE BLUE BOX can email me (Xenomurphy@gmail.com) and I’ll send you a collectible minifig.

Sorry about the inconvenience and the time delay.

I think Sean said that his parents weren't comfortable with him giving out personal info. Thanks for offering prizes to make up for the ones unable to be sent. I'll get in touch ASAP.

You're right, Chris, that's what he wrote. Nevertheless, I asked him about the prizes Jared wanted to ship and Sean didn't answer my question. I can't contact Jared - Sean is the only person who has his email address.

Oh, I see. I have no clue as to why he won't answer your e-mails then. Is there no other way to get in contact with Jared?

I don't know and to be honest, I don't care anymore. Sean wanted and initiated this contest and then left me alone with all the work. I rather send some minifigs now for those who deserve them instead of having to struggle with all this organizing problems.

Well whatever you feel like doing is fine by me. Maybe some questions will be answered in the future.
