Well, it's time to announce the winners for this fifth competition !
Again, some stiff competition... I'd thinned it down to 8 really-awesome ones, but had a hard time choosing the top five out of that.
Anyway, here's who won...
In first place comes Senator. Chincilla with his awesomely accurate Gumpert Apollo (

Great work on that, it looks spot-on !
Secondly, we have Henry Shepard with his perfect Ford Mustang 2010 Shelby GT500 (
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/146973) - who may have gotten first place if it weren't for the fact that he entered 3 creations when the rules state that you can only enter 2... next time that won't slip so easily.
In third place, we have Rolands Kirpis' Pontiac GTO (004 Tuner) (
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/287021) , with its lovely detailed interior and engine bay - good job !
Nick Barrett comes in fourth place with his beautiful 1:8 Scale Honda NSX (
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/239624) ; you just can't ignore all the extra details and functionality you can add to a nice big model like this, as he has done masterfully.
Lastly, in fifth place - and this was by far the hardest to choose - comes Lego Builders' Pagani Zonda S Roadster (
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/291333) , great moving parts and details on a smaller scale; very good work and accurate in looks too !
I must however give a shout out to three other creations which grabbed my attention and competed for the top five...
Malte Dorowski's Porsche 911 GT1 (
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/292076) sure looks great, and is very cleverly built - good job!
Rick S.' Bugatti Veyron 16:4 (
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/286520) looks the perfect part - it'd be great to see a real lego version one day!
Lastly, Henry Shepard's Ariel Atom Lego RC (
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/201387) looks perfect, and the added RC component must make it a pretty fun to drive, too.
...Well, there we have it. Another contest, another set of winners - and lots of awesome creations yet again... Hope to see you all in the next (and last, for this year) contest !
