Cept I do, since I spent the last month of war exhaustion rebuilding all the cities you burnt to the ground, and since a drydock is a dry hole in the ground with cranes all around it, it wasn't exactly hard to fix.

...One does not simply rebuild a city in a month. Unless you're Japanese, but you're not. I'll give you that you probably have the drydocks built again, but everything else... That's a lot more complicated than putting in new concrete and cranes.

The Senate has finally agreed to enter a state of total war in the Imperial Republic, and has granted the Emperor his expansive wartime powers. The Individual Ready Reserve has been called up, and these "ghost" units are starting to mate with their pre-positioned equipment stores and headquarters, with some lighter Legions beginning to assemble across Rome.

Because this has obviously upset some people greatly, I must make this clear. If it's war time, you DO NOT need to make your movements public. If it's peace time, you will. Everyone knows Russia moved troops to a base in Azerbaijan in response to growing Israel-Iranian tensions. If it was war, you wouldn't do that.

Today in Arabia...

Interesting how the New Zealanders magically knew where a squadron of Dragons were sitting and can apparently just pick any old airfield nowadays snd say all the enemy's stuff is right there and the fact a public announcement was never made. And seeing the "new rule" I have revealed the other squadrons location to the CM. Ohai new Zealand.

In Europe as per FREE request, the single squadron of Valkryie fighters has been withdrawn back to Arabia.

Next the Strategic reserve instigative was finished sometime last week. This system places large depots of machines and weapons near strategic points in our land specifically with our many large neighbors and around points of interest. So in face of an invasion reserve units can quickly mobilize to their depot arm themselves grab their orders and head to their battle station to hault an enemy invasion or stem the tide till active units arrive.

Expansion of our military continues as fighters and ships continue to sail off. As well our first carrier is soon to be complete (a Gettysburg class) and will be named AWS Dubai and the 2nd not far behind it but still a good ways will be named AWS "Ghost of Cliffe/Brian". We see the latter name fitting seeing as that one is being made at the lovely dry docks in Alexandria.

As well the war continues in North Africa and with Algeria almost entirely in Arab hands.

That is all.

Today in Arabia wartime production has ceased, but as many new orders have come in for weaponary factories will continue to produce for orders. And military expansion will continue.

As units come home from Corsica though many will be coming home in caskets many brave men died for betterment of the new Muslim Empire and to free Algeria from the tyranny of the Frenchman. As well many men will be receiving Golden Cresent and the defender of Allah medals for their heroic actions during the campaign and the bloody taking of Corsica. As well all divisions who participated will receive unit citations for the Algeria campiagn.

Finally as part of new funding GSI has received contracts for a new medium combat airframe based on the successful Dragon aircraft and new Heavy fighter program. As well they have been contacted to begin work on a new Leviathan 2 and Minotaur 2 series and a new yet to be named wheeled IFV. So far any details are scant on all projects.

Today, in the Federation...

The admiralty, in a belated announcement (5 days ago), has been overjoyed at the Kremlin's announcement to once again expand the navy. The order to the shipyards has been two more Stalin-class carriers. The final destination for these vessels is classified.

In a classic oversight, the Premier apparently forgot that the Mistral-class was an AAS instead of just a transport dock, which the admiralty had been hollering in his ear about for the past few months. He finally authorized the transfer of two of the four to the Indian Ocean flotilla base to augment the Kiev-class vessel there already by forming a three-strong VTOL carrier group. Four more frigates have been deployed there as well. 32 MiG-40Ns have been stationed on these craft.

For reasons which ought to be patently obvious, the Federation, for the first time, is entering war time production as a short-term measure only. This decision was made in part to support peripheral parties as well as serve our own interests in a more timely fashion. /initializing wormhole...

Today, in the Federation...

The long-delayed naval initiative announced by the admiralty many, many months ago (December or January, I think) has finally come to fruition. The Swift-boat program is fully operational, prompting the largest single purchase of naval hardware (in numbers) of over 200 units. Not much larger than a pleasure cutter that one would rent for a weekend excursion, the swift-boats cost about $6,000/unit, about the cost of a logistics truck. They will be used for river patrols as well as shallow and deep-water assignments.

New Zealand satellites picked up large amounts of naval, air and armour activity along the Australian East Coast. Time to hunker down and get our hands dirty...

New Zealand successfully unveiled it's latest upgrade to the venerable F-18, the F-20. Due to the fact that it is simply a process of re-winging the plane, adding new intakes and adding some other, undisclosed modifications, this is not a new fighter, but an upgrade from 4.5 to 5th generation.

Notice to all combatants:

Please, please, please inventory EVERYTHING and total all numbers when they are mentioned. That makes it SO much easier when I can just at-a-glance determine relative strengths instead of trying to estimate everything all the time. Especially for things that I can't find online. Did you know that there aren't any solid numbers for armored divisions? How am I supposed to know how many tanks is in an "Armored division" without anyone telling me? Not even NATO divisions are the same, as they have variances within each category. Please do the same for infantry. If you're using online resources, please send a link if nothing else. Example:
First Armored Division:
-X tanks (of W type, yadda yadda)
-Y IFVs
-Z troops
-Etc.

Not to sound like a complaint box, but it would just make thing so much more easy.

Anyhow, a NEW, FRESH, DIFFERENT set of orders (*coughAndrewcough*) is due by next Sunday night, by special request of one of the combatants. So, if there are any problems (it's quite late, there may be) now's the time to get them ironed out and patched up.

Was it the fact that I didn't let an army of middle aged men who fought in the resistance against Gaddafi defeat the Arabian Army? The legality of my attack can be vouched for by the men holding Stuttgart in the name of King Nicholas I, King of the French and Protector of Fascism.

Note to Evan: You are welcome for the islands. I had minuscule use for them as it was.

Additional Note to Evan: I too, have read the books. I'd prefer to be known as Jaime Lannister than some wily old Frey.

For general digest a few key events have unfolded within the past 24 hours. As Mauritania slipped away, forming a new government that would not cave into our demands, Gambia, after several weeks of deliberation, has decided to not be destroyed and submit. The new government, (all figures determined months ago) has been flown in and have assumed power. The famed Army Group 2, heroes of the Northeast push in the elimination of the SADC, is being transported into the nation. Its Northwestern counterpart, Army Group 1, has been moved to Northwestern Guinea, in case anything goes poorly in the region. Several squadrons of aircraft will be based in the region.

A naval detachment has been moved off of Gambia's coast to ensure compliance.

Meanwhile, a general northward trend for large quantities of combat aircraft was observed, as squadrons hopped their way to airbase to airbase, destined northwards.

Madagascar- still ongoing, but there has been a lull in the violence- at this point, we are looking to starve the island into oblivion. Several attack squadrons have disengaged, them too, northward bound.

With the recent agreement with South Africa, the DoD is announcing the immediate deployment of a total of twelve Army divisions, four squadrons of F-43C's, and two squadrons of F/A-53's to our new friends in South America, to garrison the countries and provide military assistance. B/c Paraguay is so small (active duty army of only 12,000), military reformation will take place ASAP using surplus equipment as well. Chile will take longer though... Stats updates are coming.

So the end is coming. I am ready for the final assault. If I am to die, I die standing against the tyranny of tolerance, democracy, and socialism.

Light production of the Type-101a1 began today along with a few upgrades on current tanks; hopefully, within the end of the week the design can be revealed. For now, due to the nature of our conflict we will just be upgrading the tanks of units which are not engaged in combat.

Operation Lodestone began today when a few divisions of experienced troops were taken from China and boarded trains for unknown locations.

Today Bangladesh's congress began deliberation over whether or not the nation should be annexed by China. Currently most of the population supports annexation; however, it is unknown whether the congress agrees.

The Southern Army of Japan is currently raising an army of 300,000 strong and up to 20 Chinese and Korean divisions could be reinforcing the forces in Japan.

Regarding the situation on Sri Lanka, the Premier greatly regrets the use of missiles on Sri Lanka as the Government of India didn't want us to, but you gotta do what you gotta do, eh? In response to the question of whether or not the Indians regarded said real estate as sovereign territory and would feel the need to defend said real estate, they responded: "No, I don't".

Thank you, ladies and gents, for your time.

I laugh at the fact that Ultra just put 15 missiles on my base...

...That is 20 people per missiles. Way to waste missiles.

I laugh at how you apparently forgot that you were training an entire contingent with those 300 men (and at least a few planes) for service in that theater?

Also, they're smaller missiles. Perfect for the job, really. Lastly, there has never been such a thing as overkill...

Remember a couple CRs ago, and at the heading of this ICF, I mentioned things were complicated? Well, here, I'll break it down for you:
-You're attacking Spain, who was attacking France. In that way, you'd sort of be on the Axis side.
-But, you're also attacking the SEC, who was traditionally allied with the OeK. In that way, you'd sort of be on the allied side.

No Planes were or have been stationed a PMS Sri Lanka, and the contingent you are speaking of ceases to exist. Where would I get the people?

Ah-ha. Yes, I see. Here, ladies and gentlemen, is what's called a "Oh, curses, I just had a base blown up, so I'll pretend the contingent I claimed I was raising (and at the time would have defended my ability to raise said contingent if anyone had challenged me on it by saying I had every ability to with lots of men and machines) simply never existed so as to minimize losses." Right, we all believe it. Doesn't matter, I suppose, how many were killed, at least that base is blown off the map, so mission accomplished! But it seems fishy to me that you just had 300 men standing around doing nothing for 4 weeks with no transport out...or vehicles...or anything. But, whatever floats your boat.

So the planes that took them there, with the fighter escort, simply vanished?

The two divisions promised to enter service over the course of the past few days have been indoctrinated for full service and shall see action shortly in contingency with veteran forces in the south. This means a fresh 30 000 pairs of boots are now ready to serve the vested interests of the Federal Republic with an additional 80 000 on the assembly line, so to speak. Conscription notices have been mailed to able bodies; however, these slips only suggest that their names are first in the pool should their nation call them to action. They shall receive training during their weekends to enable them to enter service at a moment's notice, but they shall not report to appropriated quarters per enlisted men.

Additionally, our industrial capacity has been moved to intermediate production: the transitional phase before war-time production. This production period shall replace all losses and field new equipment in shorter intervals. We haven't been pressed to enter full production so our economy should stay intact thanks to reduction in consumer taxes and so forth which will balance household budgets to be sustainable while we maintain the necessary work hours to keep up the work effort. The banking efforts made earlier in the year have been unveiled as a master plan that gives the federal government monetary credit in exchange for reduced business tax during peacetime. Plus, funds still come in from our FRA buddies whom we still own to some extent. No civil worry has been felt.

Also, the FREE would like to take this time to insure to the OeK that the sovereignty of Moldova shall not be infringed upon during our operations into the SEC. As demonstrated during the conflict over Ukraine, the FREE honors its word when it comes to property rights in the public forum and we hope that you can see this.

The Korean and Pakistani Navy are each constructing a Song-Class Carrier along with numerous stealth destroyers and frigates to form complete task forces. They will also be constructing additional Type-4 subs to supplement their fleets.

The Pakistani Army is making an order of 3,000 Type-101a1s to replace its existing tanks. The Chinese army will also begin to slowly upgrade all their existing tanks.

The Pakistani Air Force is contemplating replacing all its strike fighters with F/A-53s and its pursuit and interceptor fighters with F-43s.

All of our Ballistic Missiles are being upgraded to have numerous countermeasures in order to make the likelihood of reaching their destinations greater. Our missile forces are developing strategies to increase the amount of missiles to ensure that a strike will be able to overwhelm any attempts to try to defend against it. At the same time, our defenses will be more proactive rather than reactive to the launches of other countries.

Finally Operation Lodestone is now in full swing, further developments will come periodically but the operation is now out of our hands. However, due to the complicated nature of the situation an additional force of at least 10 crack Korean Motorized and Armored Divisions are also being taken off the front.

Looking at the naval situation, it's been found to lacking in heavy escorts for the carriers in the Pacific. The Leader noticed a rather inactivity in world affairs. He thought to himself "finals" and at which point shrugged his shoulders.

Anyway to make this comment have relevance about 50,000 men will be rotating out with the 50,000 men already in the Iranian mountains. The garrison will leave behind for 2 weeks for mass unit training before splitting up to their original bases. As well a alertness drill was conducted yesterday morning of the reserves to conduct an earlier morning drill of their readiness and they preformed well with most units monilizing within 24hrs to their respective defense positions.

As well 1st fleet will re-begin it's patrols of the Red sea and Gulf of Aden, while 2nd Fleet will reman on patrol duties along Syria and 3rd fleet along our northern coast in Africa. That is all.

Edit: Also just recently found out Oman has over 30,000 Balistic missiles comparable to large SCUD's.

In other news, forces in Pakistan are conducting in an alertness drill and so far everyone and everything are getting to their positions efficiently and quickly. However, we are hoping to possibly make it so that the reserves get into their positions within 48 hours of being called to action.
