Multiple rounds?

Just curious, would you guys want to do more than one round. So the top scoring people would move on and eventually there would be one winner.

Also if we did rounds, would you want all the rounds to be from the hobbit? or would you want four rounds and one from the hobbit and the rest from each of the 3 lotr books?

Please give your opinion on multiple rounds so I can plan out the possible rest of the contest.

I liked the idea of the LOTR Trilogy Contest where there was three separate contests for each book and then you could add one from the hobbit to make a total of 4.

Thanks for the response. It is kind of hard to plan out what you're going to do with no input from members.

Yes we should do one for every book.

I doubt that there will be enough participants for elimination rounds to be worthwile. You could, if all were willing, have each person make 4 builds, then add up the scores of all those to find one winner. That way, it could be a big contest with several rounds, but not reduce the pool of contestants.

That sounds like a good idea to me. For now I'll leave it one round but when I announce the winner I'll see how many like the idea of more rounds and if there are enough I'll do that.

I'm feeling indecisive about the multiple rounds.... because a few of you have said you'd like that but if we end up only having only a few entries it won't be any fun.....

I like the 4 rounds idea, but I don't think you should eliminate people. You could add up the scores after all four rounds and make a Grand Champion.

That's what I'm thinking. There will probably be four rounds but you won't need to enter every round if you don't want to.
