I don't know how long I'll stick around--I'm trying to limit the amount of groups I join--but I'll give it a whirl. So what's up everyone? How have you been Soap? Gonna be posting any creation soon? And just out of curiosity, what is the group "W'sup" that your always writing in? I don't want to join, I'm just wondering.

Hehe, I was drooling over your "Sacred Waters of Athea" and browsing on your flikr. :) I love the picture of you with the saw! :) I dashed back and forth to the computer building my own version. I've barely even done anything with it. I can't figure it out.

It looks like it should be a really complicated build doesn't it? It's actually really simple - it's just about the different "sticking-outing-ness" of the ramps that lead to the chutes :) Easy!

How did you do the inside of the ramps? I really want to show it to my Science Teahcer Miss Frates. :) Thanks George!

I can't send you a picture, because I took the model apart :) I can do my best to explain ot to you though.
The whole inside workings are just two studs wide - I started off with the 4 by 16 rectangle shape with the 2 by 16 space in the middle cut out. The bottom layer of chutes are fed by ramps that are the whole 2 studs wide. The upper layer of chutes are fed by ramps that are 1 stud wide, but as they are higher they cover half the botttom layer (so if you look at it from a birds eye view, the ramps on the top layer are 1 stud wide and the ramps on the bottom layer are 1 stud wide. The hole at the top leads to two ramps on either side. If there is an equal amount of water going down both chutes and the same thickness, then water runs onto all 4 ramps and down all 4 chutes.
That probably didn't help but I tried my best :D

Y'welcome. Sorry I haven't been that active. I've been working vigorously at a MOC, plus I cannot post anything due to my stupid computer, then after I write this, I have to skim the pool. I'm soon to obtain a MAC desktop. (which will be exciting)! ;)

It will indeed be exciting!
