Okay, once everyone has said yes or no, we'll figure out the exact details of the Moc-Off. Here is how it's going to go so far:

*There's going to be no specific theme. The Moc will be judged on design, colorscheme, and overall look and creativity.
*The timeline is going to be a really long timeline, probably about a couple of months, seeing as the holidays are upon us, and everyone probably has their end of the semester projects and finals coming up in January.

Other then that, we could juggle around ideas here until the Moc-Off begins. By the way, if anyone wants to judge, please tell me. I need an odd number of judges (3 or 5) before the Moc-Off begins. Any judges will be made into moderators of the group.

Okay, as we wait for everyone to join the group, I'm going to set out the plans (Anyone can suggest changes, which everyone will then discuss):

* The Moc-Off will start on December 21st and end on March 1, plenty of time for everyone to get a Moc in. If that seems like too long, just tell men.

* If there is someone in this group that doesn't want to partake in this Moc-Off (Either now, or towards the middle of the Moc-Off), simply say it here, and I'll make you a Moderator, designating that you are either a judge or observer.

* There will be no special theme for the Moc-Off. The Mocs will be judged off of design, colorscheme, and overall creativity of the Moc. Keep these in mind while building!!!

* I still need two more judges. If you would like to judge, or know someone that will, please say so here! We need at least 3 judges by the 21st of December.

* Painted pieces can be used, however, custom made parts cannot.

Well, there are the current rules. We could discuss rule changes once everyone has either joined or declined from the group. I hope for a great turn-out by March!

Wait, aren't moc offs only one on one?

Most of the time they are, but I've seen a lot of Moc-Offs that have plenty of people in them.

Okay. And in response to the Matoran Idea, that sounds cool, but I think that we might just stick with simply design. Besides, then everyone has a fair advantage (I think) because they can build whatever they're best at building.

Okay, I'm assuming that everyone that wanted to be part of the Moc-Off is here. Don't worry if you can't join the MOc-Off immediately, you have until the beginning of March to make something. Unless anyone has any questions, let the Moc-Off begin!

I'm all in. What are the categories? I mean, I have no problem with freedom in build ideas, but it might be a little easier for some (judges mostly) to look for something specifically, like whether the moc fits a theme, parts are used well, and whatnot.

I would've made categories, but I'm just not a big fan of there being a theme. I've been in a couple of Moc-Offs where I wasn't able to build something because I didn't have any experience in a certain theme, so the judges are just going to be basing it off of creativity and what-not.

Sounds great. Can't wait to get started! Should we include links to our opponent's page?

Since there's a lot of people in this Moc-Off, I was thinking that we should just post all of the creations in this group, and then putting a link to the group instead :)

To be honest, the group has been dead for a month, and I think most people have forgotten about the moc-off. The deadline is in about two weeks, so I doubt we'll be getting any creations. I think I might just close the group.

I can add my Berzerker Blazerion moc in the group as a moc off challenge :)

I'm not sure if it would make much of a difference, since you would be the only one entering a creation. I haven't even made a new moc, I've just updated one.
