Finally! The contest is over. Over the past several months, I have been very impressed with all the entries. Now for the winners!

First place goes too...

Paul Vermeesch! With your entry "Nottingham Wall", you really impressed me with the quality of your film. Really great sound effects and action! What stood out to me the most was the camera panning and other movements. Wonderful lighting. Just an exceptional animation that rightfully grabs first place! I hope we will see more Brickfilms from you!

2nd Place

When it comes to awesome effects, Conner Hoffman's "Lego Star Wars: The Battle for Fort Skyhook: The Beginning" really qualifies! The voice acting was brilliant as well as all the sounds. Just a major film and project. At the longest entry, it deserves 2nd Place! Very well done!

3rd Place

We all love Plod! Fogtod the Engineer's "Plod Splashes Out" was very fun to watch! You have really brought Lego to life in your film. The water motion was just stunning. Your entry was a film that made you say "wow!" I love your character, and I hope we see more of him! Very well done!

4th Place

This was a rather difficult decision for me as I felt that there were several entries that qualified for this position. But in the end, "street racing in Cybercity" by cyberfrank 2010 really stood out to me. Overall a very unique film. Even though it didn't have any sound effects, the race was just really cool and the set was just awesome! I loved all the buildings, streets, and city life!

Some other entries that didn't make it to 4th place but which I just have to mention include:

"Chronicles of Toa Dante, Prologue." by MG - A very rare bioncle film. The effects were nice. A unique animation that was shot outside in broad daylight.

"Growing Up" by Lego Girl - Creative film that had a great plot. It was very fun to watch.

"Force Lift" by David - Even though it was very short, it portrayed the magical use of masking. A very nice set too.

Thanks to all who participated in my first contest. And congratulations to the winners! Once again, I was very impressed with all the entries!

Keep Brickfilming!

Thanks for having the contest! It was fun to be a part of! Now I can proudly say I am the creator of two 'award winning' films! Gotta hand it to the guy who did Nottingham Wall though. He definately deserved to win! C: Thanks, and congrats everyone!

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. And thanks for organising. Having made a small movie I'm greatly impressed by all the effort that must have gone into the other entries. Well deserved results for 1st and 2nd. I'll go and work on camera panning! It adds so much.
We must do this again.

Congrats to all! I didn't participate because I was caught up with my own brickfilm, and got sidetracked, so hopefully next year I can rock this contest. 'til next time!
