That sounds fair and simple. Just a suggestion with 6-7 rounds for each series and a 3 day rest between you are looking at a 9-10 week contest. That is a long time. I would suggest maybe having each round for two series i.e. round one includes series 1 or 2 minifigures, round 2 is for 3-4, etc... That way you would shorten the contest and open up each round to more participants because not everyone owns every series. Just a suggestion it is your contest!

I am not a judge, but I agree with this suggestion. My break, for example, is over on but ten days. After which I'll be VERY busy.

Yeah, that sounds prudent. And what if there are more points for build and less for pics, like 15-5 instead of 10-10. I just feel that as a MOCing competition the emphasis should be on LEGO skill, not the kind of camera you have. Just my two cents. :)

I completely agree with Luke. I would tend to put more emphases on the build. The skill, composition, and creativity would all be factors for me. I tend to think a MOC should stand by itself and tell the story of the build without the need for an elaborate story. Sometimes these fit well and add to it as long as it is not over done. The same goes for pictures I like quality over quantity.
