Mr. Ember,
3 things you should consider:
1. You just stated on another thread “I'll stay, but I will not be extremely active".
1A. You’re not going to be "very active" in the group, but you want the group to be "very active" when it comes to reviewing your MOCs? Doesn't really seem fair does it?
2. You ask everybody else in the group to provide you with reviews for three new MOCs.
2A. So, you will be active enough to post and maybe get some reviews...but you don't want to commit to being active in return. Doesn't seem very fair does it?
3. You ask us all not to tell you how bad the picture quality is.
3A. So you want us to go, look, and review ... but not to mention a possible way to improve your presentation? Maybe we should stick to talking about how "Awsomesauce" it is? Or how it "Pwns" or how "WIN" it is? You expect that we will be disappointed by the picture quality, and so ask us not to mention that. Doesn't really seem fair does it?
Well, you never know. Good luck.

I'm really sorry. What I was meaning to say, is that I will be active, but I won't be on here every single day. I will still give criticism to those who want it, but don't expect me to be on every single day. You can criticize me about about the photo quality, I will edit my comment. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Permalink | May 2, 2012, 7:35 pm |

Mr. Ember,
Sounds good. Just remember that you need to be ready to do whatever you ask others to do.

Can't say much because it's a fig on a plate, no detail, maybe a little story, clones. And that's all, give it a change up. Like western or medieval! Permalink | May 2, 2012, 8:30 pm |

I agree! Mix it up. Clones buying cokes...or clones getting parking tickets...or clones building a spaceship, in a castle, while drinking cokes, in France, on Spring Break! Attack! Permalink | May 3, 2012, 3:27 pm |

Is it just me, or do you like coke? Anyway, as for CC I'd say use better lighting, a single-colour backdrop, and see if you can use tiles to clean the vigs up a bit. Better lighting can be achieved with sunlight, bristol board makes a good background, and tiles are found in many sets and bricklink. Permalink | May 5, 2012, 11:12 am |

Coke, and/or Dr.Pepper rocks. If Jedi drank either, they would be...mo bettah Jedi! If they drank either from glass bottles instead of cans...the Sith guys would be toast. Johnny Sith Lord would be all: "Hey Jedi, can I have one of your Dr.Pepers? Then the Jedi could say: "No way Sith looser! Keep drinking your Tab out of its stupid pink can!" Then they would probably fight, and somebody would lose a hand...again, and somebody else would get killed. Then the Jedi could sit on the dead Sith guy and finish drinking his Dr. Pepper with his one remaining hand.
Mr. Ember, I agree. Simply moving your MOC into the sunlight might be one of the fastest and easiest ways to improve the overall impact of your MOC. In fact, all the additional light might help to get a better focus as well. It's like a two for one.
And seriously, showing your characters doing various activities can really spice up a comic. Like repairing a ship, or rescuing somebody form a fire, or disguising themselves to escape detection...Show something other than fighting occasionally. It may be a violent story (Yes! Violence Rocks!) but in a good story (like say...your comic) there can be lots more than fighting going on.
Keep at it.

The story is top notch in my opinion and the action is cool. But lighting should be improved and a white background is preferable.
Also, in future please only post one link in a thread. Permalink | May 11, 2012, 11:44 am | |
