Can I judge?

Thanks for the offer, but I can't see any easy way... what I usually do is just sit on on the last day, view everything, then make a decision on the spot; and post the results at the same time as I start up the next contest - all done very quickly.

Thanks for the invite! I will enter my Ferrari 458 Spider, and I'll see if I can make new Italian car for this contest.

Would a Iveco truck be allowed in this contest?

I'm pleased to be invited back. I'll enter my four wide mini fig compatible Stratos (you need an imagination when viewing) immediately and I fully intend to build something new. I'd like to try a Ferrari of some sort or perhaps a FIAT. If that fails, I'll enter my Piaggo Ape.

Well, you've got two months before the end date - and you're welcome to enter creations you've already built, too, it doesn't have to be a new one.

Yeah, I was sort of confused, becuase it's 'Italian cars' so I didn't know if trucks would be allowed, but things is clear now!

yeah, sorry about that... 'vehicles' would have been too vague, but for this and future contets, you're free to enter a car, van truck, etc.

I had similar too: first I wanted to build a Scania, but then I noticed that this contest would allow trucks so now I'm going to build a Iveco.

Yes! An Italian car contest :) Just in time for my Maserati MC12 7-wide (just finishing up some parts), and my other Maserati, which I haven't built in forever.

Between school and my lessons together, I have literally had no time to complete the rear of the MC12. I'll try to pull some time together this weekend to dump my legos out again :)

A G1 Fiat 500 would be a great match for your 2CV :-)) I'd love to see some of those in the contest. Aah, the first one has already been added...

Nice, thanks for entering! I like your models, and it's nice to see somebody choose to enter some lesser known vehicles, instead of just enzos, gallardos etc - I love the Cizeta so it's great to see a model of it, seeing what parts you used I think you've achieved the shape rather well!

When I finally have enough time to take photos, the photo uploader stops working. The world is very cruel indeed.

Hi, just some help, go to this link. http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_images.asp
It tells you how to manually make a photo into a html code. I worked out how to do it yesterday, and I don't know anything about html. Good luck! :)

Thanks; that's encouraging to me. Right now when I look at my models, only my 458 looks any good. The rest seem bad. There's a tiny chance that I will get it finished in time...err...less than 10% chance probably.

What about those F1 cars? And the Mazda van? They were good, I'd even call them spiffy!

The f1 cars were just for fun; nothing very challenging and no great techniques used. The Mazda - it was built a while back so I think I could do better.

Don't forget that you're allowed two entries each - you could always enter one of your older things for now, and if you do manage to complete your entry on time, enter that one when it's done. At least like that you still have a chance either way :)

Oh for crying out loud.... yes, I see you're right there.
On top of that I spent ages writing that one up.
I wrote up the results, posted them as usual, and then saw exactly what you see now.
Good ting I had the foresight to copy the text before posting it. So I pasted it again and posted it a second time.
At that point I saw the 'please don't post things twice, sometimes it might take a while for things to appear' message so thought I may have ended up posting them twice.

But instead they're still not there. MOCpages FAIL.

Well I guess I'm going to have to write them up again, and hope they actually go through... please forgive me if I give a shorter, more concise version than originally intended.

OK... SO I go on my page, see 4 messages to look at, one of which is reviewing 'questionable comments' in this group. Which of course were my own, and were the contest results. Why MOCpages thinks they're questionable, and why I need to review my own posts, I have no idea... so still, MOCpages FAIL.

Anyway, the results are up - sorry for the delay!

Wait, if they're questionable comments in this group, shouldn't you be the one moderating it? ;-)
