Hi guys,
I have always wondered who the best builder on mocpages was. (excluding Sean Kenney) This contest is to hopefully find that out.
It will consist of 5/6 rounds. Round 1 will be a regular contest round. It will also decide who will move on to round 2 which will be more of a mocoff styled round as will the rest of the rounds. Rounds will be added and removed at the ammount of people that participate in this. I hope to get some big builders to join like Chris Phipson and Ru Corder to help judge or participate if they wish. If this contest grows to big we will split it into TFOLs and KFOLS together and Very Good TFOLs and AFOLS in another part but it will follow the same rules and guidelines.
Thanks for joining and please advertise for us! When you get some one to join have them post your name with theirs saying that you got them to join. At the end the person with the most invites will get a reward. The winners of this contest will recieve a TBA prize.
Thank you all
Josh.

Hate to burst your buble, but this contest will NEVER draw in the likes of them... They are far to busy, and far too good to be bothered to enter this... sorry, but its true...

While I can't enter as a contestant (way too busy with Brickworld builds) I'd love to help out where I can.

Can't promise to be a judge at this point due to the MOCie awards coming up (which will be taking a lot of my time) but if there's any advice or guidence I can give I'm more than happy to offer it.

My first suggestion would be to outline the rules a bit better. They're kinda vague at this point. Sure, it's a contest, but how are things going to break down in each segment? Will there be categories or free for alls? And who are your judges?

People are drawn to contests for many reasons but one of the main reasons is that the contest looks organized with all the details worked out in advance. I'm sure you have the details worked out in your head (or on a word document somewhere) but people want to see things in black and white to know that everything's ready to go.

Presently you have 21 members so it looks like you're off to a good start. A lot of startup contests rarely get more than a dozen or so players. Keep me posted on things around here and like I said, I'm more than happy to offer help where ever I can!
