Hello! :)

I would just like to say that I have at least two more castle MOCs to upload to MOCpages, but I haven't uploaded them because I'm waiting for the MOCpages Mafia to end... (and now I'm also waiting for the uploader to work).

I've been planning something for a while now. First it was going to be a fantasy RPG but I decided that would take up too much time and may not be popular enough.

So now I have come up with the idea of creating a fantasy world collaborativley with the MOCpages community. I will post an introductory MOC soon and will start the group.

Would nay of you guys be interested in that?

Just wondering how does the Mod Election work? and how do you now if I have commented on ten creations to get one comment?

The Mod Election Will Come in a few days and then, you will know. And it is not commenting on ten creations, it is actually 10 comments in the group. And I can see that by looking in each conversation and monitoring.

okay thanks, I meant the creations in the group :P

Sounds good, I would be interested, but, It depends on time really. Recently I've got more Homework and other stuff building up and also, my part usage is getting worse due to my bricks getting "Sorted".

It shouldn't be vastly time consuming. Is your summer holiday coming up next month?

But the sets don't last very long.

That's true. And they usually start a whole new line of them once customers show the slightest sign of boredom of them.I mean,Knights kingdoms had 4 different lines of sets with the same knights getting armor upgrades and a new quest in each one,and castle had two, skelettons, orcs, and we could maybe make a third with the few very detailed and big sets that featured orcs and skelletons at the end. I think this is because castles and knight are fairly easy to design as the come in pretty straightforward builds, with very common colors, and there are a whole lot of pieces designed for making them.
What do you think they will do once kingdoms is finished ?

Did anyone get then new LOTR sets ? I got the Uruk-Hai army this morning, and I've got to say ,it's one of the BEST medieval themed sets in a LONG time. Not TOO pricy, for a set with six rare minifigs and it supplies some good pieces.
Right now,I'm setting my sigghts on the orc mine

But sometimes,it's the only alternative to getting a new set...if you badly need one.

Well,It's pretty good. Bricklink has much more choices, but it's not very user freindly and finding good deals are hard.
My parents won't let me use it though because they don't want to give their credit card numbers to small untrusted companies. And PAB is very easy and fun to choose, all pieces have a known price you can settle on wich is good so I know how much to save up when I want to complete WIP.
And PAB also gives me lego V.I.P. points.

Good idea, So, the new Chat Room thread will be opened on the 10th Every Month from now on. I've just come up with a new idea for the Group; If There are a few Knigdoms for this Group then, Every Member can choose which one to join and you can make Quests and compete against the Oposing teams and try and get more Group Points. Anyone like the idea?

Great idea. But it'll be lots of work in the begginning.moderators should be the rulers of their lands.
And we need to settle on names for our kingdoms, borders, colors and all that.
So we need more moderators before we ca start. I Say we wait till we have two moderators and you to start.but while we wait,we could have our group tag set in those lands.

Yes then I think you should Join Legends of Brickdom Its really fun, you can control a nation and fight for land, resources or just join in with the world wars!
Alternatively you can build alliance, explore trade and just become civilised."

Trying not to advertise, as its not my group, But it is really fun, At the moment I'm locked in a week long Moc-of to see who gets this Land in the south.

How is the outcome of a war decided?

Well, We've officially fixed it so we both win :) You see, as The war is for expansion, We and the judges agreed to let me make the map of land won and lost.
So I've made our war make our Lands expand into unclaimed land, so ultimately enlarging our territory.
However the winner of the Builds we've made is determined by a Board of Three judges, selected by the founder of the Group.
Each build is judged out of 10 by determining; How war like it is, How realistic it is, How good the build is.
So far I'm on 29 to 34 its pretty close, But today's the last day of building and the last scores will. be ready tomorrow. Wish me luck :D
